IMO, the best low-fi, visceral, abrassive, and meaningful black metal has been coming out of Indonesia, and then I stumble upon this, which strikes with the same level of intensity and shock - I am deeply impressed. And in some respects not surprised, given the stance these musicians are taking politically, and the history of Scotland as it continues to fight for independence from a horrendous coloniser. Black metal can be a vehicle of resistancen - look no further.
Favorite track: I, The Beholder.
