Dan This album defined the tail end of my university years. I have no clue how many times I've listened to it, but it has a place on every device I have owned that can play mp3s.

benchly The organic yet mechanical sound builds so nicely, advancing with layers of complexity and speaking to just how machine-like life really is...or perhaps it is the other way around? Are we building machines in our image, or are the machines becoming more like us through some natural progression that guides the evolution of all things, great and small? Favorite track: Life Cycle.

lisa glenn One of my favorite albums of all time. Laurie Spiegel’s music transcends time and space. My favorite track is The Expanding Universe. Great for listening to while working, reading or just needing to chill out.
    David J Loftus thumbnail
David J Loftus wow. The Kepler track from this album opens the 1977 Voyager disc, currently navigating interstellar space beyond our solar system at ten miles per second.

VertigoUnit Amazing! Thanks Karl Records! Favorite track: La Légende d’Eer (1978).
    hmj thumbnail
hmj Too good of a box set not to buy before it runs out of stock. Some of the best works by one of the best composers in recent history. Looking forward to having this in my physical collection. Favorite track: La Légende d’Eer (1978).
    Rod Stasick thumbnail
Rod Stasick Amazing man. Amazing works. Bohor, from the Nonesuch LP, is in my top 3 of favorite works of all time, but the late 90s release thru EMF flattened the sound and shaved off the final seconds. The version on this recording brings back its immensity of sound. Thank you! Favorite track: Bohor (1962).
