Ryokan I have a dream of listening to this album as the stars come out over the ALMA radio telescope array in northern Chile; better yet, to see Hermanos Gutiérrez play the album in that setting. I suspect then I’d get a glimpse at the soul of the universe. Until that comes to pass, I’ll continue to savor these songs in less remarkable conditions. Perhaps that’s for the best. If I can’t find that peak experience (even just a bit) here and now, then I won’t find it there. Favorite track: El Camino De Mi Alma.
