David Fischer Some might have turned their backs on Architects when they decided to not stick to their 2009 sound anymore. Well, 'some' do so at their own peril because this band's songwriting is more infectious and engaging than ever. While not crazily creative in structure, When We Were Young is not a standard Architects track by any means, with an unconventionally rocky chorus and straightforwardness. Being one of the few bands keeping my interest in core alive, Architects wrote another killer song.

David Fischer Got into WSS with The North Stands for Nothing, and been in love ever since. Each album they dropped, they improved aspects of their sound. Self Hell is the culmination of that, sounding unmistakeable. The title track is the best thing any band from this scene has released in years, and will likely be so for the distant future. Insane groove and attitude. One can hear their pour their souls into these records, there's so much passion. Hope they live forever. The absolute sickest lads. Massive! Favorite track: self hell.
