Ippocalyptica A wonderful and concise dose of “traditional” atmospheric black metal that is all the more impressive if it was indeed recorded live in one take, Faliscjis has the ability to transport you to that particular time and place Unviâr is talking about in their bio. Thanks to the Order ov the Black Arts for the recommendation! Favorite track: Corints.
    aznsensation thumbnail
aznsensation Truly a hidden gem. The harsh vocals and relentless music create an overwhelming sense of despair that really resonates with me. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience—it’s the kind of album that stays with you long after listening. If you’re into atmospheric black metal, I definitely recommend checking it out. Favorite track: Unviâr.

m_tausig This is an absolutely phenomenal record. Much like another commenter mentioned, I have no idea how this band escaped my notice. Whatever that reason was, I am grateful they are now within my archive. The atmosphere achieved on this project is incredibly unique, and is something darkly reminiscent of where black metal was birthed - in a cold, hard, mystical place. Those facets can be heard loud and clear on Zorzysta Staje Oćma. It will likely make my top records of 2023. Hail.
    Septembre thumbnail
Septembre The imagery Wędrujący Wiatr evokes here is dark, yet there's a peacefulness present in the atmosphere that's really well done. I picture swimming through treacherous waters at the darkest time of night while the moon's light reveals spirits hiding in the distant trees. The accompanying story is hugely immersive. As other comments have said, this album is really like reading through an old book of folklore. Favorite track: Rzeka, która jest Światłem.
    Saffron Robe thumbnail
Saffron Robe I have no idea how this band escaped my radar. Perhaps their sound is too ethereal to be detected by earthly means! However, they are up there with the best of the best black metal bands. This album contains a wonderful range of sounds and melodies, which encapsulate a host of cultural and mythological motifs, all wrapped up neatly together within the all-encompassing cloak of black metal.

    Brent Davis thumbnail
Brent Davis kostnatêní proves once again to be a metal genre unto themselves - it's one that's unbelievably enjoyable, strangely life-affirming, and yet it never veers away from "extreme-ness" (i.e. it'll appeal to aficionados of outre death & black metal acts).

🤘✌️🖤🇿🇦 Favorite track: Mrtvola Jupitera (Corpse of Jupiter).
    hellbendervinyl thumbnail
hellbendervinyl We love Kostnatění! The vinyl pressing for this record was lovingly handled by Hellbender Vinyl (hellbendervinyl.com) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Put it on your turntable and let it ride! Favorite track: Přílišnost (Excess).
    Matten thumbnail
Matten All convention is thrown out the window here and to some incredible results. It's truly incomparable to anything else, and the whole album feels cohesive despite every song being completely distinct. Favorite track: Mrtvola Jupitera (Corpse of Jupiter).

    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Canadian Death Metal. Woah! Those deep vocals again! They are an absolute delight for me... :) They give a depth that is really quite unique imho & they give the album a possibly even more crushing atmosphere than its predecessor "Foreordained". Thanks DD for your sale! No faves yet. Highly recommended!!!
    Alec Jasper thumbnail
Alec Jasper This is amazing. Heavy sound, the doom is doomy, the death metal parts are deadly. One of the best records of the last year for me.
