yakuzadog14 Should be spoken of with the same reverence as The Inner Mounting Flame, Emergency!, Love Cry Want's eponymous album, and all the other early jazz fusion classics. This was made by a quartet featuring vibes, electric guitar, bass, and drums. The chemistry between the musicians is uncanny and remarkable. John Abercrombie has an incredible early appearance here, and the rhythm section is dynamic and restless. Monty Stark steals the show with his electrified vibes. Favorite track: Bustin' Out Of Doors.

plasticwrap A classic album that has not lost its charm over the years: truly great. Hits you right in the feels, sounds almost like one of the cassettes I made trying to pull songs off the radio with the little boombox I got for my birthday in 98 or 99, if I had had a deft hand for that sort of thing and those cassettes hadn't been thrown away a long time ago. Favorite track: you'll never catch me sleep.

Colton Brown Spazzy tracks with crisp beats and melodies so crazy they shouldn't work in theory. But blank body makes them work, with weaving synths and a super sleek feel.
