veldusi Outstanding piece of work. I'm quite curious about the mic setup, that has to be as unique and complex as the percussive gear, like tack-on membranes, piezoelectrics and whatnot. Amazing sound quality. Favorite track: Clink.

ghosttropics Between its impossibly delicate production, subtly captivating instrumental arrangements, and ghostly soft vocals, The Moth is an album that slips through the cracks of the unconscious mind like spirits drifting through the halls of old abandoned homes and whispers its secrets like a soft wind through dry leaves.
    Harrison Phinney thumbnail
Harrison Phinney A grey mood is established, but hope is present. Austere arrangements which manage to uplift despite their fragility. Vaguely orchestral elements, but no schmaltz. The haunted vocals in Waterscene are a highlight, and I like the buried audio recordings. You get the sense throughout that the musicians are attuned to one another and are playing themselves into a certain hypnotic languor, a comforting gloom.
