    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Polish Stoner / Doom Metal. Traditional Doom at its best, full of grooves & with plenty of soul & as occult as can be! What more could anyone possibly want? Plus those vocals are simply superb & fit right into the rest... :) Love all tracks but the third really appeals to my sense of macabre - it has very distinct Black Sabbath vibe to it & I can almost hear Ozzy (RIP) singing it - this is very high praise indeed... :) Thanks ISR & Jack! Recommended! Favorite track: The Unholy Ceremony.

rook96 I know Valkyrie do so many good songs, but Feeling so Low introduced me to the band. Valkyrie are very special and I appreciate the music and lyrics a lot. Thank you. Favorite track: Feeling so Low.
    doomcrew thumbnail
doomcrew This album has escaped my library long enough. The vibe maintains through the entire album and the musicianship is undeniable. These guys are the real thing🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
    Warstub thumbnail
Warstub It rocks, isn't over compressed, instruments sound full and alive, and the songs feature gloriously soaring guitar solos. Favorite track: Evil Eye.

    klamath100 thumbnail
klamath100 I know this got a lot of hype, but it is really very good. My most listened album of 2024. The mix of death metal, Krautrock, Floyd and psychedelic rock is so well done (and yeah, parts of it feel a bit like fan service to the greats, but that's ok with me). Favorite track: The Stargate [Tablet III].
    cache_2 thumbnail
cache_2 This album convinced me that Black Metal can be good sometimes.
    marshy_1 thumbnail
marshy_1 Awesome synth prog with death metal, less for metal fans than prog fans Favorite track: The Stargate [Tablet III].

Sam I love this album because it reminds me of what it feels like to listen to your favorite metal bands.
    cstenzy thumbnail
cstenzy Triumphant castle magic, a dreamlike walk through mist and haze ⚔️🏰✨ Favorite track: Ashes of Feudalism.
    Atanamar Sunyata thumbnail
Atanamar Sunyata Arabesque obsequies in castles made of castles. Elevates Obsequiae's vibes to their platonic ideal. Evidently I can listen to these meta-harmonic melodies forever. Beyond the worship of form, fey feels are fed to demon-haunted screams.

meadowkamagica I love albums that create unique mythologies and transport you into their world. 'Cosmic Folklore' is a beautiful, richly detailed spiritual experience that is clearly dear to the creators. With this record, Crooked Mouth assert themselves as one of the finest acts in contemporary dark/neofolk. Favorite track: When the Sun Married the Moon.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra Nefarious Eastern Bloc folk. First step into a darker world. Favorite track: When the Sun Married the Moon.
    Harold N’Hiver thumbnail
Harold N’Hiver This is a transcendent record. Absolutely sublime, and I haven’t stopped listening to it since it came out.

There is something definitely of this world about it, but it has the feel of something that speaks from a place of the unknown, of a gorgeous place beyond what we humans know, in our ever-limited scope and imagination.

In a word, this is magic.
