Opethian If you listen to any genre long enough, you will come across the pretenders and those that love to play it safe, but if you're fortunate enough, you will come across those that want to stand out and make their mark on the genre and elevate expectations. This LP from Conjurer is absolutely incredible and something to experience! Greetings from Colorado! Favorite track: All You Will Remember.

scottpain Face grimacingly riffy. Love it. Favorite track: It Dwells.
    mourner thumbnail
mourner Lately, I found myself wandering through the valley of more or less corish extreme metal more often than ever before. This is one of my favorite finds there. It's heavy, bleak and very varied. Conjurer absolutely know what they're doing and managed to surprise me quite often. The songs are all very intense, emotional and extreme in a very individual way - impressive and convincing. Favorite track: Those Years, Condemned.

LeSmiley I love this album. I'm sad and confused as to why Redivider didn't make it onto the bandcamp release
    gatko thumbnail
gatko One of my first albums that introduced me to the genre, so I have some sentimental bias! But nonetheless, a deeply nuanced album that ties in themes of mental health, religion, and personality types that settle together in the ultimatum of each song. Favorite track: Inhabit the Wound.

    Keebler Dilf thumbnail
Keebler Dilf This was the first album I heard from Sleep Token, way back when. I thought it was a hidden gem of sorts. And it's interesting to listen to it now. You can hear the potential and the passion they had even in the early days. Favorite track: Nazareth.
