allieanasu an underrated release but also the Mountain Goats have like five 10/10 releases from the earliest days to fairly recent releases so it's not too surprising this doesn't get brought up enough as one of their best. But it certainly should Favorite track: Heretic Pride.

Nerrilee Morale Wasn’t a huge fan of the previous album so I didn’t really know what to expect when I saw this one came out. Boy did it stick, oh my gosh I’ve listened to it on repeat for over a month now, brought to (happy) tears at first listen. Sometimes when I’m listening and Keeper of Celestial Flame comes on I’ll just stick that one on ‘repeat song’ for a couple hrs. this album is the perfect combo of blast beats, story, and amazing tunes! Keeper is my fave but I’m still obsessed with all the songs :) Favorite track: Keeper of the Celestial Flame of Abernethy.
