Ronald van Veen We Are The Wild Ones is a perfect slice of Synthpop! Can't believe she isn't a bigger artist after being picked up by Mercedes Benz for their TV commercial... Favorite track: We Are The Wild Ones.

    Carl Trautwein thumbnail
Carl Trautwein Beyond Memory is ridiculously catchy. I could play this on repeat for hours. Amazing dark, intimate synthpop. Favorite track: Beyond Memory.
    Maiyannah Bishop thumbnail
Maiyannah Bishop If there's anything more "high-end 80s synthpop" than this offering by NINA, I haven't heard it yet. Very evocative of the compositional sensibilities of the time, with appropriate, well-done vocals to match. Favorite track: Beyond Memory.
    Ronald van Veen thumbnail
Ronald van Veen New music by NINA, who can resist!

    by NINA & Ricky Wilde
    supported by
    The Stage Light thumbnail
The Stage Light As a person born in the 80s, lucky enough to experience every summer under the hot Grecian sun, all day by the sea, this album is like a turning back the time. One of my favorite albums ever of such genre, a pure dive in to the 80s, I am so thankful that I can re-live nowadays through the music. Every track brings up special memories from these summers in Antiparos, and my most favorite, Causeway, brought tears in to my eyes. A melody that reminded me to appreciate everything I experienced! Favorite track: Causeway.
    telos2080 thumbnail
telos2080 This album gives me the type of shock that I haven't experienced since first discovering retrowave in 2015, because I'm blown away by the degree of intense authentic 80s emotion in some of these songs. I can barely believe songs like this are being made unironically in 2023. But the fact that they are gives me hope that the human soul can overcome the cynicism and nihilism of modern life. The album photo might be the most 80s thing I've ever seen. And the pan flutes in Causeway are transcendent. Favorite track: Causeway.
    julesneonfawkes thumbnail
julesneonfawkes Imagine if Howard Jones and ABBA had a child and it surpassed their talent. This album is simply incredible. Harmonized chorus, scintillating synths, wonderful retro guitar and sax, and most importantly, feels. This isn't retro. This is emotion. Favorite track: LA Dreamers.

12barr I think this is definitely next level. I don’t think it’s going make the others we’ve enjoyed worry too much, because they are standalone great artists…however, creatively I think it’s going to stem something more out of all we enjoy.
    Way to go Brothertiger!
    pati thumbnail
pati Love that this record is a work of family and friends! Personally find the sounds upbeat and easing — sounds to dance and/or unwind to!

P.S. Congratulations on the 10th Anniversary (Edition) release, Brothertiger! :-)
    forrestd17 thumbnail
forrestd17 It's so fascinating to hear the demos of the songs that were on the original release. They sound like they could be extras on Future Splendors! I cannot believe it has been ten years today. Incredible work :) Favorite track: High Tide (Decadal Rework).

    Poesy Rider thumbnail
Favorite track: A Future Of Ultraviolence.
    Darik thumbnail
Darik This album has had a huge impact on my life this year. This is in my top 3 synth albums of all time and I have listened to many, many albums. Give any song a listen because there are no filler songs here, but at least once you should listen to the entire album and let its story unfold. Favorite track: Strands Unravel.
    Tommy Gibson thumbnail
Tommy Gibson the more I listen to this the more I enjoy it..
i like how all the sounds are very easy on the ear.. nice mixing Favorite track: We Are One & The Same.
