azagthoth05 First black metal album that I really got into. Also because of King's vocal range is fucking insane. Favorite track: The Oath.

PG van der Ploeg A really awesome album — I absolutely love it! Comatose delivers superb songwriting with that unmistakable Sacrifice style and atmosphere, wrapped in a powerful, crystal-clear production. Volume Six shows Sacrifice in their best form ever, and honestly the strongest record they’ve released to date. Favorite track: Comatose.

erickpaquin Just brutal and raw, amazing Sacrifice album, they never let down.
    Sightless_Wisdom thumbnail
Sightless_Wisdom Dryish vocals reminiscent of John Tardy but with some 80s thrashy rasp to give it a sharp edge. Awesome riffs to top it off. I shared this band with my buddy, and his response was, "Canadians aren't supposed to be that cool." 😂

JJMarmite I, foolishly, completely missed this had come out but I don't even need to listen to a single track to know I need this. Never has a Kalmah album failed to do anything other than leave me entirely satisfied.

Top fucking notch, every single time.

Not bad for guys I heard once by accident on Spotify, like, over a decade ago on a soundtrack album to some Finnish television show I'd never heard of.

icetress Another great album from Kalmah, must buy to all melodic death metal fans! Favorite track: Veil Of Sin.

blackenedhalo The more I listen to it, the more I like it. While the album does not reach the heights of Eternal Hails, it is definitely better than Astral Fortress, but is it better than It Beckons Us All? Pity that every song contains some uninspiring riffs which we have already heard like a thousand times before, because there is also a lot of unique parts. But in general a very enjoyable album. But for Satan's sake, Fenriz, if you want to sing, then take some lessons, because your singing is attrocious.
    Favorite track: Siberian Thaw.

Sightless_Wisdom Be prepared to either die or go to jail because you will piss off your neighbors so much with how loud and powerful this music is that you will either fight to the death or kill your opponent and rot for the remainder of your days in prison. So basically the music will achieve its goal of laying waste to everyone and everything that hears it. Favorite track: Invoke War (feat. Machine Head).
    justintylerhughes thumbnail
justintylerhughes Savage heavy grooves Favorite track: Absolute Zero.
    positronicping thumbnail
positronicping Frozen Soul move ever closer to the Platonic ideal of death metal on this album. It's all timeless stuff, teeming with infectious riffs and pulverising grooves, as well as some appropriately icy atmospherics here and there. It might be meat and potatoes, but it's cooked by Michelin star chefs. Favorite track: Ethereal Dreams.
