    porcelainheart- thumbnail
porcelainheart- Never doubt Trhä's ability to utilize every nanosecond of time in each track he makes. There's a method to the madness, even when it isn't madness. The soundscapes that are built have a purpose, a story, a meaning. Yet each one is different than the last. And I think the music works so well because this concept is difficult to explain in words, so music picks up the slack and works overtime to tell us what we can't form the words for. Favorite track: tëmana olh qëtën colvënna bé'jar lhëlh tun lhaja enΩëjëda£ehan inqom.
    PanRune thumbnail
PanRune This may very well be my single favorite atmospheric black metal record. Whether you’d traditionally define it as atmospheric or not is less certain but that’s most certainly what I get out of it and I’m thankful to it for that. Favorite track: tëmana olh qëtën colvënna bé'jar lhëlh tun lhaja enΩëjëda£ehan inqom.

    nerdeater_noemi thumbnail
nerdeater_noemi The journey is rarely a clean and simple one. It's obscured by false starts, diluted by compromises you mistakenly thought were necessary, littered with pitfalls to halt and even reverse your progress. But isn't that true of everything that matters? Favorite track: An Angel of Great and Terrible Light.
    TaraFaeryn thumbnail
TaraFaeryn Good screaming on here, pairs pretty well with Lingua Ignota. I hope we get Sky May Be on vinyl. Favorite track: An Angel of Great and Terrible Light.

cold_brew Beautiful album, especially 'Excuse'. Raw, emotional, exactly what music should be. Favorite track: 변명 (Excuse).
    arct1q thumbnail
arct1q Being hit by a wall of sound shouldn't sound this good, but just the way it blends with the raw emotion on the vocals UHHH oh my goodness anyway you should listen o it. Favorite track: 격변의 시대 (Age of Fluctuation).
    spee14 thumbnail
spee14 Just beautiful heavy shoegaze. The long instrumental in White Ceiling with the background screaming is heavenly Favorite track: 흰천장 (White Ceiling).

Mr.Paul Been listening to this for almost two decades and it still isn't old. The new (closure) track is a brilliant example of how JKB can take anything and mix/mold it into something with a new feeling. Favorite track: Ruined (Closure).
    Michael Carter thumbnail
Michael Carter I remember buying this on cd when it first came out, then again with the hydra head release and now again. This is a very important record to me,it just carries and exudes so much emotion. The extra tracks just add extra icing to perfection.

    brainbg thumbnail
brainbg '’Bozbulanik' is my favorite track. I don't know the language, but it feels very direct and minimal. The metallic, edgy reverb on the vocal makes it feel tense and constrained, like the voice is trapped in a small, cold space, and that's what gives it its power. Favorite track: Bozbulanık.
    chamazu thumbnail
chamazu This is one of my favorite albums of all time ♥️ Favorite track: Monoton.

pinkytheent Tinariwen cast their trilling, shimmering magic of the tenere again. The hot sun beats upon the baking rocks as these tunes reverberate through the pillars and canyons. Tinariwen are experts at casting a hypnotic spell of shifting sands on you. All of the instruments and vocals sound great and the guest musicians add to, rather than eclipse, the core music. Excellent! Favorite track: Arajghiyine.
    Lance A Schart thumbnail
Lance A Schart This album has been in the works for some time, going way back to their appearance together in Brooklyn in November 2014. Really excited to hear the final product, @daniellanois and @TINARIWEN!

    ClassyMusicSnob thumbnail
ClassyMusicSnob following in the same vein as UTS, RUTI as in improvement in cohesion and futher melds the dark ambient atmosphere together with the metal, instead of having ambient tracks that set the atmosphere before the metal songs. there is so much to unpack from this album that really requires some dedicated listening. This album will challenge you to unravel its secrets and when they finally reveal themselves, you will be in absolute awe. TROBs first 2 albums are black metal essentials 5/5 Favorite track: Blood Vaults (I - Thy Virginal Malodour).
    Stefan Bremer thumbnail
Stefan Bremer I have this vinyl version and I’m disappointed because digital album has no Unholy’s “ Neverending Day” cover song unlike the vinyl version has.
5/10 points, mediocre collection. Favorite track: Rain Upon The Impure.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Rain Upon The Impure.
