Louis Jagger While the long-awaited Bloom would seem to have dragged its arrival beyond April, what's incredibly exciting is that Spratleys would now appear to have their own Spratleys - a furtherance and continuation of the same ultramelodic brilliance down new electronic avenues; a worthy sibling to Bloom. Gerrit I just listened to this album again after a while, and I still love it. I discovered it a few years ago and wasn't familiar with them in the 90s. But I love everything that sounded new and unique to me, but also everything that made me think of some of my longtime favorites during that time. If you like Cocteau Twins, Bel Canto, Eric Serra, T21, or David Sylvian's Weatherbox, I think you'll like this album as well. It's a beautiful experience from the first to the last track. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Atmosphère.
