    9RnK7 thumbnail
9RnK7 Gorgeous and moving, this album fills a musical void in my collection that I didn't know existed. With lyrics that speak about the human condition and instrumentals that have a medieval flair, this has become my new musical addiction 😁 Not a single note is wasted here Favorite track: Children of the Empire.
    baudelagon thumbnail
baudelagon Un album peut-être un peu trop homogène, qui m'a beaucoup moins séduit que le précédent. Mais toujours cette voix au grain agréable. 3/5

veenstar Stunningly beautiful. This is a masterpiece of control and melodic elegance. It takes its time, and builds in intensity. Favorite track: It's Not Just Me, It's Everybody.

Lubey Lu Moby has made some of these tunes world famous, but the whole album is a treasure. It's a slice of precious history, but it also stands on its own merits, never failing to get me clapping along and singing the responses.
    cookiemonster76 thumbnail
cookiemonster76 A testament to the fact that you can make great music with vocals alone. A trove of spirituals that hook you in from start to finish Favorite track: Sometimes.
    Sneffels Records thumbnail

Jim Ferguson I’ve been steeping in this LP for about a week, and it’s been an entirely bewitching experience.

I love art that gives me AND. This is music that is simultaneously hypnotic and kinetic. Sounds that feel ancient and anachronistic and totally now. It breathes, but is also bound to a technological precision. It’s familiar and foreign. Intuitive and handholding.

It’s honestly one of my favorite albums in a very long time. Can’t pick a favorite track, it’s a journey.

    Thank you so much, Hama!
    Alconvin thumbnail
Alconvin This album is afrofuturist fire!!! The music is hopeful, rather than dour like like western synth so often is
