Alice M. Found this because it was listed as a “related artist” for Kalandra on RateYourMusic – same drummer, I think. Except that… *this sounds nothing like Kalandra*. xD But it’s about as good.
Very prog-o-experimental, with its own way of being heavy, but surprisingly digestible despite the overall weirdness.
    Eden Porter thumbnail
Eden Porter One of the most exciting albums I've heard in a decade. Bits of Sol Niger Within and similarly brilliant. Buy this album. Favorite track: Chaos I : Untelligence.
    Krafty_Exe thumbnail
Krafty_Exe Just these lads live in Manchester and they absolutely kicked my head in, in all the best ways possible. had to come and leave a review, brilliant album from start to finish, I'd bet money on these guys becoming huge, would pay great sums of cash to see these guys play with Car Bomb....eurgh Favorite track: Tokamak IV : Fluorescence & Entropy.

    Sam Damon thumbnail
Sam Damon Prog rock-#1 in my top 3 Elder albums after Reflections and Lore, absolutely fantastic! It’s a “loop album” that never gets old over time. I spin it “all the time”. Halcyon and One light retreating are stand outs. A required purchase for the Elder/prog rock fan. FFO, Rush-Tool-Rishloo. Favorite track: Halcyon.

Gaslight Gatekeep Girlboss I endlessly waffle between whether this or Gold/Silver Sessions is Elder at the height of their powers, but it doesn't really matter in the end. Omens is a really really goddamn good album.

Morphy It's majestic. :3 Favorite track: Seven Years Late.
    muschiosauro thumbnail
muschiosauro Spacious like the light-years separating faraway galaxies, groovy like the rings of a remote planet, slow and dense like the passing of time in a blackhole, and massive like a giant supernova that's about to implode. Favorite track: I Didn't Lie But I Know Now That I Should Have.
    patos thumbnail
patos The sludgy weight in this album riff's are so dense that makes me sink in pure joy. A true masterpiece, can't skip a single track. Favorite track: A Day On Which No Man Was Born.

Frank Cevasco No matter how many songs, albums, and artists come and go, this song, album, and artist will always be such a huge part of me. both as a musician, and as a human. give it a listen for your own sake. Favorite track: Legend.
    rettisawesome thumbnail
rettisawesome Elder came to me at the perfect time. This album is big and bold. It's a massive wall of sound at one time, and a head twirling orchestration of odd time feels and swirling textures that guide you from one soundscape to the next. Favorite track: Compendium.
