  1. Key XXX: All that the Rain Promises
    by Lichencloak

    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian “Litterfall” gently shimmers, like sunlight on dewdrops. Listening, I feel grounded, reassured, and cleansed. “Soil Magic” leans into the wonder of how soil transforms rot and decay into miraculous new life. The energy released through this process gives off a vibrant lavender glow, limning the forest and our upturned faces with luminous twilight shadows. By the end of the album I feel as if I’m floating on gentle currents of mycelial and chemical energy.

scottgendel My favorite of the Windkey Tapes series to date, these 2 tracks are both gorgeous, warm, and enveloping... and take you on a soothing but unexpected musical journey, one that ends somewhere quite different than where it began. So much richness in such seemingly simple textures! Favorite track: Litterfall.
    John Fruth thumbnail
John Fruth Dreamy, hazy, soul growing music 💚
    blarg thumbnail
blarg A dreamy celebration of the beauty in embracing the slower, quieter and even the more mundane moments. This album comes at the perfect time. Patient and peaceful summer sounds

    𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 thumbnail
𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 Long plaintive pads, long drawn-out notes of sorrow, narrated by a minimalism with multiple reliefs... that is the richness of this Dark Dungeon Ambient : expressing a thousand and one things with so little to begin with.
    Nikolas thumbnail
Nikolas This is a perfect ambient album. There is never a dull moment or lull in the progressive motion embedded in this cosmic release. Favorite track: Great Golden Wings.
    INDOLE / Filth Eternal thumbnail
INDOLE / Filth Eternal In an ambient record, sometimes the title can feel a bit too creative, like "sure man, I guess". This album is EXACTLY what it says on the label: dark and draconic. Certainly fantasy, but not all flowers and sunshine.

Urso X I loved this when it was originally released, and, toggling back and forth between the two versions, I’m happy to report this new remaster is definitely worth the dosh :)

Anyway, one of my two favourite records on the “Four Horsemen” theme (the other being Colosso’s outstanding Apocalypse, a must-listen). Sakis Tolis strikes again!

PS — The vocals on this 🔥🫠 Favorite track: Seal 7-(Revelation 8:1-6)-Silence in Heaven.

Vilkas Kiskis Redivivus When lesser men have laid down their arms, Umarth reminds me, no, DEMANDS, I take them up again, and should this be the day flesh and steel fails me, I will take as many f*cking bastards that assail me as I am able to whatever place fighting men find themselves in the end.

We curse our black fate and hail it all the same .

    𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 thumbnail
𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 In this demo, a mournful lament, desolation and affliction reside. The sky is gray and dark, the towering structure a ruin. Grave of Silent Dreams continues its superb exploration of abandoned and ghostly lands.
