Loscil's music humbly hides the complexity of its composition, within its subtle detail, beckoning the listener to lean into the speaker and become immersed. Despite that, it is not disruptive in the background. Favorite track: Vespera.

NameemaN This whole album is so amazing. It is peaceful yet disturbing, beautiful yet scary. I've used it to bring myself to places in my mind. Of course you're a passenger not the ship's captain. I love this album very much. The light and the dark. I'm glad the group are true to themselves to create such awesome music. έκλειψη λαγουδάκι I've never heard something quite like this from The Black Dog. It's unexpectedly floaty and symphonic yet it's got the signature visceral atmosphere they've mastered. The moment I heard the strings, I was immediately caught off guard. I've had to listen to this album several times to appreciate what all is going on - I find myself falling into a trance. "Human Latch" is my favorite moment of weightless surrender in this album, which I think is an utterly unique TBD production. Favorite track: Sleep Deprivation 19: Human Latch.

Wookito This is deep shit terrain, a most beautiful masterpiece that transports you to other realms where you are asked to feel the truth of who you are. The music dissolves habitual nervous tensions and stories and takes you into the mystery. I'm left with questions and a desire to keep listening again and again. JackG Another richly satisfying and enchanting release from Scott Morgan aka Loscil. A striking addition to the canon. The rocking, nautical feeling of 'Kamouraska' is classic Loscil, the field recordings a welcome addition. Favorite track: Kamouraska.

Gabi I went to the LOSCIL & LAWRENCE ENGLISH concert at the CONDEDUQUE contemporary culture center in Madrid. I enjoyed it a lot. Colours Of Air and now Umbel are great. A greeting from Spain. Favorite track: Dusk Gale.

Emmanuel RÉGIS I particularly like the Indigo track. It takes me away. There's something spiritual about it. Soothing. It's hard to explain, it's all about a feeling of openness. It's a track that opens up to something immense in emotion. Favorite track: Indigo.

bustermumbles Cinematic and enveloping. For being based on the Colours of Air project, I get more of a liquid sense, being buoyed and surrounded by slow-moving deep water. Absolutely lovely.
