David Ellis One of the albums I bought last year that I continue to come back to time and time again. It’s just beautiful. Added to which the acoustics of the recording in a church give this album something very special indeed.
I can’t wait to hear more from Vega Trails. Favorite track: Love your Grace.

Jean-Paul DuQuette Excellent dead-pan / spoken word vocals and great musicianship all around. Love the sax as well, really taking things to a post-punky next level. One of my faves of 2024. Favorite track: Default Parody.

Pestilential Duotang Based off Lip Sync and Under The Glass, I knew they were cooking up something good. This is killer on every level. It expands upon and bests what they accomplished on Useless Coordinates. There's a thoughtful, sinister quality everything here, a spookiness. What a revelation. It may have just unseated Glasgow Eyes as my still-to-be-determined AOTY. The core is off-kilter for sure, and spectacularly so. Favorite track: Talking Radiance.

Ghuughra Sounds of the apex before the coof up and stalled everything. Hard to pick a favorite. Favorite track: Sugar for the Pill.

Chamomile It's an album that fills your soul and leaves you at peace. Absolutely beautiful Favorite track: Slomo.

Rally Reminds me of the times in life when you've finally chosen to fully accept a difficult situation, and the grief and freedom that comes along with it. Made me unexpectedly emotional. Favorite track: What Next.

diskripper Wonderfully textured synths enveloped by beautiful rhythms and phrases, driven by purposeful melodic progressions unlike any other. Favorite track: Wave Theory.
