butterbars74 This is some of Knxwledge’s finest work. The way he seamlessly mixes instrumentals and vocals that would be unheard of together and breathes new life into both components is a marvel. Favorite track: whippdkream.

    Peteradio Amazing release! Highly recommended!
Beats and sounds are flawless. Looking forward to the new release. Favorite track: abracadabra trash.
    nuance thumbnail
nuance yuk's music is like lying on the most familiar couch in your life and hearing the rustling of a playful and ethereal static world all around you. Each track feels like it's melded with and informed by an environment that's wide and welcoming, a little muffled and a little echoey, gently lulling the listener into a home feeling trance. The tender repetition is like the repetition of loving people day to day, cooking for them, vacuuming from time to time. The world needs more yuk. Favorite track: home.
    Nic Brown thumbnail
Nic Brown Apparently, Los Angeles-based beatsmith Chad Valencia (aka yuk) is owner and head chef of a Filipino restaurant and I mention this only because my first listen to "a n a k" left me feeling satisfied in the same way a good, but not spectacular, meal might. So, if like me, you're partial to a modest smorgasbord of ambient rattle and hum with a side order of dust-covered beats, then pull up a chaise longue and tuck in. Service charge not optional, but very reasonable. Favorite track: orange.

maoltod If you like this, I'd also recommend "ColorJazzMixtape" and "DJHJazzAt Montrose."

All three EPs share a loose, funky rhythmic feel. DJ Harrison captures the sound of hearing a jazz band from the other side of the bar, clear but not crystal-clear, and without excessive polish. Favorite track: Jeff Davis Highway.
    tsudoname thumbnail
tsudoname DJ Harrison's Vault Series #6 is another reminder of why I love exploring for new music. The year could be 2022 but you end up finding these treasures on Bandcamp from years ago and it lowkey feels like finding treasure.

What I love about this set is there is this almost distant/muffled sound to all the tracks, not sure how it's done, but something about it.. Favorite track: Too On the Scene.
