  1. The Winterlight Chronicles
    by Fellowship
    supported by
    Yingqin thumbnail
Yingqin Gorgeous piano versions of two classics from The Saberlight Chronicles packaged with The Frozen Land, that album's Japanese bonus track which is basically as good as any of the songs on the original album with a bit more of a "pure power metal" flavour. What's not to love? Can't wait for the new album!
    froggethearcher thumbnail
froggethearcher The Frozen Land being a bonus track feels like a crime, but man, there was a need for a bonus release and I'm happy it's here. Not to mention 2 incredible versions of Glint and Oak And Ash. Favorite track: The Frozen Land feat. Philippe Giordana.
    Chase thumbnail
Chase This is beautiful and incredible and raw, the only thing I wish was that it was the entire album done this way rather than just Glint and Oak and Ash, stunning work.

    dickersdone thumbnail
dickersdone The sheer beauty of the compositions and the choruses that flow like ambrosia from the gods create this effervescent masterpiece.

I’m far from being the most positive person I know, but bathing in Fellowship’s infinite sunbeams, I feel like this life is truly worth living. Favorite track: Avalon.
    wsamsaal thumbnail
wsamsaal Ridiculously fun power metal that makes me happy to listen to. I don't need to worry about the lore of Lord of the Rings or anything like that, just that a bunch of nerds are making some of the best happy music ever. Favorite track: Atlas.

    wirbelwind thumbnail
wirbelwind Absolute uplifting, genuinely hopeful bops that aren't afraid to acknowledge how *hard* hope is?? With rad instrumentals and some of the best lyrics I've heard since Valiant Hearts?? Album of the year 2026 (yes I'm calling it now). Favorite track: Dawnbreaker.
    klbrotherton27 thumbnail
klbrotherton27 My girlfriend listened to Dawnbreaker 400ish times when it came out, so I think she'll enjoy the physical copy for Christmas. :) Favorite track: Dawnbreaker.
    Delphinium Arbus thumbnail
Delphinium Arbus An excellent second showing from Fellowship, The Skies Above Eternity is quite the album. Excellent instrumentation and vocals with strong lyrics.

I think Victim is my favorite song on the album, with its darker vibes eventually giving away to the determination to overcome. It combines with the excellent guitar and drum work to make a fantastic song (the album overall has darker themes, but I do enjoy a victory, as it were).

Great album, and absolutely worth a listen. Favorite track: Victim.
