cold_brew You couldn't honestly make me choose a favorite track. Every song is its own experience, it's almost unfair to set just one as the best. The Next Day is a beautiful end to an album though. Favorite track: The Next Day.

    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Shady Blades.
    Metal Autism thumbnail
Metal Autism This album took me by complete surprise, and I love it. A fantastic fusion of 8-bit chiptune, black metal, post-black, and grind elements. The closest comparison to the style of this album is probably Gonemage. Both excellent bands; both doing some fantastic, really original music in the genre.

kel kontraire I think it’s time Jake Robertson is recognized as a musical genius. His output is so diverse and always interesting - you never know what he’s gonna do next. This latest release from his Alien Nosejob project is an absolute synth punk masterpiece.

Charlottej im in the UK I never heard of Molchat Doma until I discovered them after hearing Sudno on a short video online and looking up who the song was by, then afew weeks later an advert advertising Twix chocolate bars which had 2 cars racing and I recognised the tune straight away as Sudno!
I love the sound of Synths, this album is so good, has a very 80s sound vibe, havent got round to listening to any others as im addicted to this one too much and can't bring myself to explore further just yet Favorite track: sudno (Boris Ryzhy).
    plasticwrap thumbnail
plasticwrap The tiktok kids seem to have some taste, actually, and the platform democratizes music in a way, so... Anyway this album has a certain melancholy edge to it that is genuine, but the drum machines can divide and often prevent full illusionment, probably by design... Is this post-ironic post-consumer content? Honestly a great record. Favorite track: volny.
