sashavonkarl74 Lucifugum from the Ukraine is a symphonic BM act that released a few albums past this one in the early 2000's, a few more preceded it, but this is the Opus Magnum as far as I am concerned, and I am thankful to find on BC and add it here 25 years after its release :))

Think Old's Man Child and Mactätus... but the Ukraine version. Favorite track: Первый и последний.

greatalfred I felt like listening to Onward to Golgotha for the first time. Indeed, I felt some Incantation vibes, but more ominous. The slower doom-like parts and the faster ones are pretty well balanced, the cavernous vocals fit well, the bass is present and the cover art is sick. Worth the listen! Favorite track: Pandu-Nag Pahan.
    tr1p0d__ thumbnail
tr1p0d__ a good omen for the year. punishing death doom with a raw mix rooted in war metal Favorite track: Pandu-Nag Pahan.
    Assaulted Nut thumbnail
Assaulted Nut An absolute sonic assault. Guttural vocals come through like they're physically pushing their way through the thick bass riffs. What a fantastic release Favorite track: Rahita.

Em I still love this album dearly but man after binging the Whitehouse discog front to back twice I feel less into it as I do with other releases from the whole digital era like Bird Seed and Quality Time. The lyrics are kinda at their peak here I feel. But they don't hit as hard as literally any of the previous albums outside of Dumping the Fucking Rubbish and Ruthless Babysitting. Favorite track: Dumping The Fucking Rubbish.

Obsidian One 'Multi-Dimensional Prism of Black Hatred' is devastatingly raw and relentlessly potent. What an opening! This is some primal blackened death metal in its purest form, and the main reason I decided to support this work — though the overall atmosphere and cover art also influenced my purchase. Brutal and black as pitch. Favorite track: Multi-Dimensional Prism of Black Hatred.
