Nqobani T Unlike all their previous releases, this is the first ATW album that had to grow on me, not sure why. It’s a really good album, not just a collection of songs. Favorite track: The Welterweight.

David Yvinec A new favorite of mine. All the ingredients for an album just as I like: Dark and mysterious lyrics, beautiful rocking voice, great 70's sounding vibes. This is heavy and groovy, with some beautiful guitar solo. There is something unique about Nordic heavy rock n'roll bands. Dunbarrow is an excellent case in point. Can you hear the wolf howling in the boreal forest? Favorite track: The Demon Within.

Grégoire Guery I love how much this sound like the second part of the first album. Unique sound, great band! Favorite track: The Wolf.

jgwilliams6565 Death Valley Girls are way better than the Valley Girls ... no duh.

Gavin Hellyer This group is a relatively new discovery for me and I'm struck by the obvious power and anger in their music. As well as the new single, I've also heard their single from late last year, and I now know of this wonderful album that was released as a cassette in 2014. I feel certain that anger from female groups tends to be just that bit more effective and convincing as women generally put up with a lot more shit than men. Favorite track: Paradise Blues.
