Geology Penguin A production showcase- I haven't heard piano voicings this rich since Vincent Corver's "Sleeping Piano" EPs - as others have stated its not so much about the chops as the atmosphere, this album is a portal. I'd like to see the Improvisations broken into respective tracks for ease of playlist integration but one can't complain- this collection is a real treat, sit back and let the world melt away Favorite track: Seven Lights.

Wellenberg State Azure has always made good music, but I think this album is his best so far. Absolutely fantastic. I hope there will be more albums like this with piano music. I love it. Favorite track: Piano Improvisations II.

ajpoet Sure, it's meditative and humanely dreamy, as you'd expect from The Choir (even without vocals), but it's also expansive and propulsive. Stadium ambient? Whatever you call it, it's a welcoming surprise from this enduring band. Favorite track: Cool Black Water.

Thaddeus Wert I have been a fan of these guys since Circle Slide. This album is a real curveball, and I love it! It's some of the most beautiful music they've ever produced. I put it on at the end of the day, and it is very calming. Favorite track: Slippery Moss.
