julinoone So many good things here but the fact that they brought back Orange Ball of Pain (one of the best pre-1997 songs of theirs) and transformed into this is just astounding.
Love how much of the pagan-y stuff they get into in this set especially New Zion and Before I Got There. Cult classics in every sense of the word.
Shoutout to the incredible rearrangements of The Young Thousands and Tetrapod as well.
Favorite track: Orange Ball of Pain (Live in Princeton, NJ 10/20/24).
    Adrian thumbnail
Adrian the presong banter on No Children alone makes this worth purchasing, but it also has the definitive version of Transcendental Youth (!) Favorite track: Orange Ball of Pain (Live in Princeton, NJ 10/20/24).
    Ramie thumbnail
Ramie Got this album on vinyl a minute ago, and damn, it goes so hard. Favorite track: Elijah (Live in Princeton, NJ 10/20/24).

Bordel !!! Favorite track: Je t'aime (A Quoi Bon).

Uyro1 To quote the TMNT cartoon show "I don't know about art but I know what I like" and I love this album. Great lyrical stories, modern folk sound yet an underlying old-school rock vibe in the background. Only stumbled across this band looking for industrial synth music but this album stopped me in my tracks. I kept going back and back and finally purchased the album.
    Glen thumbnail
Glen I run on a treadmill, and I need musical inspiration to keep my creaking knees moving at age 58. Today I listened to this album twice through and ran farther than I ever have in my life. Highly recommended as exercise fuel! The songs are so beautifully written, the hooks and melodies and harmonies so moving. Favorite track: Swansea.
    ANDREW HICKEN thumbnail
ANDREW HICKEN If they wanted to, this band could write songs for Olivia Rodrigo and dominate the charts. But they're too cool for that. Unbelievable pop instincts married to deep punk noise knowledge.
