Harold N’Hiver This kind of metal isn’t generally my bag, but this is great. I checked it out because the description said it could be for fans of Felgrave, and I fucking love Felgrave. This rips. A lot. And then some more. I love the long songs, and the complex (but not unnecessarily complex) arrangements. These songs are catchy as hell and I promise you they’ll get stuck in your head.

Lorenzo Outstanding death metal awash in dazzling epic details and layers incorporating substantial progressive elements. Throughout the four 10-13 minute tracks, there is a lot of exploration and nuance to the ever-changing song progressions and complex riffs that evolve without becoming lost, and it is all held together with a clear level of aggression. The back half shows the band's desire to push boundaries as well, with meandering passages giving a journey-like feel to the already expansive songs

The Salaminizer Je pourrais parler du son de guitare, du bassiste colossal, du batteur simple et droit, de la collab' avec Mathias.... mais en fait non: écouter "A la poursuite du vent" me rappelle la guerre que ce titre a déclenché au premier concert que j'ai vu de Pilori.
Favorite track: Poursuite du Vent (avec Matthias Jungbluth).

Metallurgical Fire Beyond impressed with Pilori. Short but very inventive songs delivered with astonishing presence. This band transcends genre. Favorite track: À la Recherche du Temps Perdu.
