Duff Egan Earth Island is a pivotal record for me. Discovered a few years into my tribal-ambient exploration, it convinced me to dive deeper and with some exclusivity.

One of the true classics of the last era, by my humble estimation. A potent mix of incredibly talented artists and skilled collaborators that follows through on its conceptual presentation.

Facilitates personal reflection and awareness like few records can. Favorite track: First Man (Watakame).

Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff) 5ive riff wizard and Pelican drummer recently teamed-up to kick my ass. Would've only taken one of them but whatever. Guess the tuff guys really enjoyed it, too. Wasn't long & they backed over me for a second helping. (longtime fan of both bands). Favorite track: Dusted.

Nathan Schofield I have been hooked on Intrcptr since this autumn. I found out about them through listening to Pelican, and their music is in the same vein.
