oscar this album makes me want to shave my head. regardless a beautiful album, self portrait backwards hit like a gutpunch on my first listen

"do you feel fulfilled? i don't mean to sound harsh, do you know who you are?" Favorite track: Environmental Catastrophe Film.
    mindshambles thumbnail
mindshambles Blown away from the start. It has a mature feeling to it, and feels like the whole album has been composed carefully to take the listener along on a journey. Straight into my regular rotation, and slotting in to my favorite La Dispute albums at or very near the top
    rahnos thumbnail
rahnos Punchy, raw and sparse, yet a powerful Punky sound to much of the new album. Favorite track: Man with Hands and Ankles Bound.

  2. When in Love ft. Geoff Rickly

    hedies23 thumbnail
hedies23 If this is any indication of how beautiful the full album will be, we're in for a comeback of monumental proportions. This is the perfect blend of emotion and talent. The vocals are absolutely dialed, the drums are massive, the guitars and bass are executed perfectly. I think this is the all star dream team of posthc we've always wanted. Including Kris at the helm with mixing and mastering. I gather that both Greg and Andy grew up listening to ALLB, and now they get to create ALLB. Wonderful.

k1n3k The whole album comes together as an emotion that can hardly be described with words. I feel the lyrics of “The Dark Glow” really resonated with where I am in life and literally brought me to tears. An absolutely amazing album and I highly suggest a good, long listen. Favorite track: The Dark Glow.

    Dianna Slater thumbnail
Dianna Slater This song still makes me cry every time.
    Chromatic Dracula thumbnail
Chromatic Dracula I love love love love this. What a way to turn something sad into something beyond beautiful. My ears are happy.
    43percentarmed thumbnail
43percentarmed How can I truly convey what it means to have new Thursday in 2024 as a 20+ year fan? You just can't. It's so much bigger than a song,it's the very embodiment of all that is meaningful and life affirming about music. Truly grateful to have Geoff and company still hitting me where it hurts after all these years. There's a lot of heartache in survival, but this song serves as a poignant reminder that life is art, and pain often paints the most beautiful of pictures.

    Bugbear Brigand thumbnail
Bugbear Brigand This album is absolutely bonkers.

I wish I wasn't balding, so I can grow out my hair and have a side part and thick eyeliner like we back in 2003 again. Favorite track: Telepathy Club.
    jjesskalee thumbnail
jjesskalee This is everything I was hoping for! The jams are jammier, the harmonies are so good. I will also never get over the wall of sound these guys can create - they're tight and loud. I can't wait to hear this album live! Favorite track: Vicious Circle.

Paul "I Keep Living the Same Day" hits too close to home sometimes.

This is Geoff at his best. Favorite track: Revolutions In Graphic Design.
    TheBilb thumbnail
TheBilb This is a classic record that is unfortunately just as accurate about the current state of affairs as it was back then. It’s just as melodic as it is visceral and frenetic. Geoff Rickly and the other anonymous members on this record really captured lightning in a bottle here. Favorite track: Model UN.
    skyfell1 thumbnail
skyfell1 United Nations is one of the greatest finds I ever found. Thank you Favorite track: The Spinning Heart of the Yo-Yo Lobby.
