yourcolleague Uncomfortable with very few and brief moments of calm...

...this album is a rewarding and unforgettable listen. Favorite track: Emerge From Earth.
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 dystopian modulated synth soundscapes for the post apocalypse. Favorite track: 'But I am who I was.'.
    stolzdernation thumbnail
stolzdernation Really dark and dystopian, it's like listening to the end of the world Favorite track: 'How fragile we are.'.
    Mathias Palmberg thumbnail
Mathias Palmberg This album shows OGRE's versatility at creating sounds and moodscapes beyond what you might expect from him. Staying clear of synth bangers and venturing into more abstract and moodier shades and tones is a revelation. To my ears OGRE works in the same vein here as Barrow and Salisbury did on Annihilation which is high praise in my book. And to also root the compositions in Ballardian and Cronenbergian fiction is the icing on the cake. My favourite release from OGRE since Ballard in 2018! Favorite track: Technology And Ritual.

beneficarus This is my favourite album! The atmosphere, the story-telling and the actress, the vibe, the technical quality of the sound, the album artwork, the deep expression of emotions through music - its just great! I cannot just listen to one song - I listen to the whole album every time - and it's a rollercoaster of a ride every time! Just can't get enough of it!

Found DL through the NewRetroWave YT channel and now bought this masterpiece.
Keep up the great work, DL. Favorite track: New Horizon.
    Cyber Djin thumbnail
Cyber Djin This album is great with tracks both nervous and, dark at the same time. The sounds, rhythm and intense Cyberpunk melodies at DEADLIFE are exciting and the vocals are like siren singing, beautiful but deadly. Favorite track: Digital Rain (feat. Mecha Maiko).
    TeddyNerds thumbnail
TeddyNerds Simply my favorite DEADLIFE album to date, just above Bionic Chrysalis. Both albums are must owns in my opinion. Every track, (and I mean "every" track), in each album are amazing to listen to without feeling too similar to each other or becoming annoying to listen to. I love pretty much every song in this album with a passion but in the end "Dark Star" really grew on me and if either of these albums release physically I would buy them instantly and listen to them, beginning to end, nonstop. Favorite track: Dark Star.

palehorse666 an absolute gem and a classic in darksynth history. if you enjoy the heavy, crunchy style DEADLIFE is known for, look no further than his amazing debut about a cyborg on a journey of revenge. Favorite track: Avenge Me.
    danroid1984 thumbnail
danroid1984 I love the implied story here. The little blurb on the album about a robot's forbidden love and then how the tracks themselves follow an archetypal story pattern. Perdition especially drew me in. Favorite track: Perdition.
    amiko thumbnail
amiko This is my first foray into DEADLIFE's back catalog and it truly does not disappoint. This is a unique style of audio narrative, with just enough plot beats to keep your mind drawing up scenes without spoon feeding you more than you need. Very distinctive soundscapes set DEADLIFE apart from the crowd. Hard when it wants to be, surprisingly delicate where it *needs* to be. Favorite track: Aurora.
