  1. Retcon
    by Red Vox
    supported by
    dc11f thumbnail
dc11f I admit I wasn't feeling this one at first, but it really grew on me with more and more listens, and those tend to be the albums that stick with me the most. I feel like it pulls from each era of Red Vox to form something really solid overall. Spectacular work once again. Favorite track: The Time It Slipped Away.
    nadiequierevivirconunmonstruo thumbnail
nadiequierevivirconunmonstruo Un disco de rock alternativo con toques de psicodelia, ve una reseña más completa en le canal de youtube de nadie quiere vivir con un monstruo.
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=6putJ-iB9pI Favorite track: Headed Underground.
    Sonic thumbnail
Sonic i keep trying to think of a band to compare red vox to, and a couple come to mind, like audioslave and nirvana, but that only serves to describe the genre, there's really nothing else like them, especially with the latest album, retcon, it's amazing, all of the tracks are amazing, i really can't describe it, it's just really good, worth the buy. Favorite track: Remember.

  2. Slouching Towards Branson (Audio Version)
    by Will Wood
    supported by
    sophiebbls thumbnail
sophiebbls Convinced me that I could listen to Will talk for hours on end because this was a blast. Hilarious, charming, ever so emotionally investing and it also had the fudge frog. Favorite track: A Man for Whom the World as he Understood it No Longer Existed.
    vauler thumbnail
vauler Hilarious album (or whatever you would call this), it felt nice to hear Will speak what he feels about the industry, even if it was only for a small bit of time. Favorite track: Things Fall Apart.
    🆂🅾🆁🅴🆃🅷🆁🅾🅰🆃 thumbnail
🆂🅾🆁🅴🆃🅷🆁🅾🅰🆃 Im slouching so hard rn Favorite track: And if I Did, You Deserved It (Pittsburgh Winery).
    Carrie S thumbnail
Carrie S I already loved Will Wood's goofy, jazzy piano and poetic lyrics. This album gathers recordings of a storytelling show he did in 2024 recounting a depressed vacation to Branson, MO. It's Tom Lehrer meets Hunter S Thompson; honest, vulnerable, thoughtful and clever. (And yes: still very goofy.) Favorite track: 6up 5oh Copout (The Bitter End NYC).

    freckledgecko thumbnail
freckledgecko A whimsical fairytale told through math rock and funky rhythms. This album is a lasting obsession of mine. Favorite track: Crumbling Castle.
    AwfullyFawfully thumbnail
AwfullyFawfully Blaring with wicked riffs and peculiar rhythm, smooth as hell start to finish. I might just love math rock, my brain is strung along happily nonstop.
Thanks to the nerd below for exposing me to the genre. Favorite track: The Fourth Colour.

jimmy_then Great set at Lazarus Brewing during SXSW. See these guys if they come to a town near you. Favorite track: The New Alphabet.
    Mt.Vic.Matt thumbnail
Mt.Vic.Matt No question, one of my favourite albums of the year so far. Another great example of Aussie, indie, post punk, garage rock. Reminds me of a rabid Devo crossed with Blondie in parts. A cracking album that fulfils the earlier promise of their 2022 release: Forever Giving Handshakes; both highly recommended. Favorite track: Digging The Hole.
    ian1984 thumbnail
ian1984 Sometimes I don't want the kids to get off my lawn, I want to hear what they have to say, and we can all rejoice by being behaved. Favorite track: Focus, Right.
    crazyguy1990 thumbnail

samckbc yon you gotta stop making me cry with every song i don't have the money to keep buying all of them (clione plushie when?) Favorite track: So Long.
    Kuro★ thumbnail
Kuro★ One of my new favorites, it's such a lovely song. My headcanon- it's a sequel to "If I were to die" Yon acting as a Train Conductor to the afterlife.

Note- I am saying this before the video release
    Sol thumbnail
Sol Yon once again making a song about about a thought that's been stuck on my mind. Everyone ages, and it's been difficult to come to terms with the fact I'll start having to say goodbye soon, and move on in my life without them. To think of the right things to say or do before they leave is such a heavy task, and weighs on my mind a lot. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one thinking of this. Thank you, Yonkagor. Favorite track: So Long.

    temoh thumbnail
temoh Mili will always make my soul feel something special every time I listen to their music. The lyrics, instruments and in this case the "context behind the songs in the game". They all are the perfect combination for something truly beautiful.

Art is eternal as humanity continue breaking their chains.
Unfairness is the bread of each day... don't give up. Favorite track: Salt, Pepper, Birds, and the Thought Police.
    Riley thumbnail

zhenni Gorgeous music to immerse yourself in. It references many of the genres that made 70s music so vibrant - spiritual jazz, funk, krautrock - while being in no way derivative of any of them. Favorite track: Death Bat.
    rikhuts thumbnail
rikhuts Fell in love from the first listen. This is truly refreshing and just overall very well produced - from the visuals and Cavs' photo sesh to all of the soothing and groovy tunes. Excellent!

    Azal thumbnail
Azal not a single bad track on this album. i love how so much is done with relatively simple instrumentation.

side note: even though sealed vessel is my personal favourite (like many others, for good reason), i must say decisive battle is criminally underrated. Favorite track: Sealed Vessel.
    ori thumbnail
ori this game has been extremely special to me for a long time. with this purchase, i now own all of the ost albums for the hk series on bandcamp (until possible silksong dlc). fantastic work on all of these tracks.
Edit: SILKSONG DLC IS REAL... Favorite track: Sealed Vessel.
