While the album does not reach the heights of Eternal Hails, it is definitely better than Astral Fortress, but is it better than It Beckons Us All? Pity that every song contains some uninspiring riffs which we have already heard like a thousand times before, because there is also a lot of unique parts. But in general a very enjoyable album. But for Satan's sake, Fenriz, if you want to sing, then take some lessons, because your singing is attrocious.

stffrmrnc Wow, I have enjoyed Kevin’s previous work, but this goes to new levels. A great concept album that manages to be both personal and universal. Current favorite song is Little Wide Open, but they all seem great!

Jamus Andrest This album is a triumph on all fronts. Beautifully considered, minimal, rock music that crafts an entire world in its introspective soundscapes, borrowing from southern rock & drone metal to craft an authentic presence. Infectiously layered melodies revealing a new texture with each listen. One Hand is a close second. Favorite track: Dead Dove (Your Love Was Never A Waste Of Time).
