  1. IT'S THE LONG GOODBYE
    by The Twilight Sad
    supported by
    ratmachine398 thumbnail
ratmachine398 This album feels like driving home from the hospital late at night after a loved one has died. Might be because that's what it's about?

Another great release by The Twilight Sad. Favorite track: ATTEMPT A CRASH LANDING - THEME.
    DAS VILLAIN thumbnail
DAS VILLAIN I sympathize with The Twilight Sad of losing a family member. I lost my father to cancer in 2017 and my mom of respiratory failure in 2018. This album is the band's way of coping with their loss that delves into the synthpop / darkwave /shoegaze side. It's never easy losing a loved one-as I still mourn them, but it gets easier-where The Twilight Sad helps ease one's pain as they ease there own. Favorite track: DESIGNED TO LOSE.

  3. Lost & Found
    by Bruno Sanfilippo
    supported by
    rikm thumbnail
rikm Bringing together a selection of tracks spanning his career, "Lost and Found" is a stunning introduction to the work of Bruno Sanfilippo.

As a longtime fan, I envy those of you who are about to discover the many musical wonders he has crafted over the years, there is a wealth of beauty that lays ahead for you...
    Richard Gürtler thumbnail
Richard Gürtler Although getting only over 36 minutes, "Lost & Found" is absolutely fabulous collection of pieces, abundantly fragranced on one side, but still enough compact and it could easily work as an album. In any case, I am very glad this highly accomplished pianist has decided to document these tracks through "Lost & Found" CD. I can only repeat again and again, Bruno Sanfilippo with such emotive bravura is one most gifted composers within modern classical ambience these days. So once more, bravo Maestro!!!

  4. The Poppies Bloom For No King (EP)
    by Panopticon
    supported by
    dvntylr thumbnail
dvntylr This might be one of his best standalone tracks yet. Blistering melodic black metal, I love it 🤘
    terrariancloud thumbnail
terrariancloud Phenomenal EP from one of my favorite bands in the genre. Excellent clash of everything atmospheric, symphonic, and brutally political. The message of the song and knowing my money will be used for a good cause is awesome. To hell with ICE and free Palestine. Favorite track: The Poppies Bloom For No King.

  5. Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone
    by Sylvaine
    supported by
    Kristian K. Erikson thumbnail
Kristian K. Erikson In addition to the beautiful and stormy soundscapes, Katherine's lyrics cut me to the bone while also giving a me a space to express difficult emotions. Favorite track: Abeyance.
    Joseph thumbnail
Joseph I have no words to describe this album Favorite track: L'Appel du Vide.
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer Happy 600 to me! Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone truly is fit for that spot. I saw Sylvaine perform in Neunkirchen yesterday. Not only did it cement her as my favourite artist, it also made me realise HOW much her music means to me. I know this is said a lot and maybe I'm being too enthusiastic about certain records myself, but this is not one of them. I have no words to say how much I deify this project nor how deeply and personally it touches me. For that, I will be forever grateful. Perfect. Favorite track: Mørklagt.

    last vinyl before doomsday thumbnail
last vinyl before doomsday An excellent record that becomes better with each play. Hexecutor makes such weird, thrashy, sometimes dissonant trad metal that veers and turns in excellent and bizarre ways. They excel at riding a sexy riff.
    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 French thrashing speed metal force with kick-ass riffs and a high-pitched vocals and a blistering speedy pace, reminiscent of close-neighbours Bütcher from Belgium Favorite track: Paol Goz.

    rahnos thumbnail
rahnos I have to admit, when this album first came out i dismissed it fairly quickly for being ordinary. But in the last couple of weeks I decided to give it another chance, and i’m unable to stop listening.
The songs are subtly crafted, each instrument is unselfish, unassuming and well placed. The songs play best as an album, as opposed to singles. Amazing Favorite track: Everyone Out.

RADEMASSAKER Thank Encyclopaedia Metallum! Started with Severe Torture and landed here coming over Grey Aura. Favorite track: Onbemind.
    Tom Shepherd thumbnail
Tom Shepherd Razor-sharp krautrock-style beats and soaring vocals mix with [checks notes] black metal fury. Beguiling. AOTY 2024 contender. Favorite track: Ús.
    The Questionable Question thumbnail
The Questionable Question [...] It never feels like a black metal release, and this is despite the nightmare inducing band picture. Instead, it shows how far the music has progressed over the years and diversified in terms of sound and character. [...] Ijs & Linnen offer a well-crafted and oddly balanced debut release.
