Dan Jones The best singer-songwriter album I've heard in a while. Great vocals, and strikes that difficult balance of very straightforward, honest lyrics without ever feeling predictable. Favorite track: Cons and Clowns.
    simmonsst thumbnail
simmonsst just saw Courtney live - great show and fantasitc album Favorite track: Magic Touch.
    Chop Alley thumbnail

    V. Farris thumbnail
    V. Farris Wild and Clear and Blue is my favorite album in a long time. Musically, the vocals and instrumentals are lovely. Thematically, the focus on nature, place, and tradition is compelling. I couldn't make it to any of the concerts, so I'm looking forward to the upcoming album of live performances.

(I enjoy the group so much that I accidentally bought three copies of the studio album from different vendors so I wouldn't miss it. Oops! Good gifts, but I'm being more careful with this one.)

joostdemoel Great! Really enjoying this. I was lucky to be able to download this, it was shortly available for download on feb 7th, due to a mistake I suppose. I have it on repeat, can’t get enough of it… and it’s still growing on me as well

gfarney I am blown away by this record! I’ve been following BBT for some time now but I’ve never heard anything the likes of this. It made an immediate imprint on my list of favorite records. I can’t stop playing it!! I detect a slight Tommy Shaw vocal style which I love because he’s one of my favs. I have many favorite tracks on this one so choosing one would be like picking a favorite kid over another of my children. It just can’t be done… LISTEN… You nailed it with this record start to finish!
    Gary Figueroa thumbnail
Gary Figueroa First, I chose track 3 because it moved me emotionally. At that moment, I believe the song playing was actually track 2. I love BBT. The new vocalist, Alberto Bravin, is excellent. Revived, restored, and reinvigorated, BBT is a phenomenal Progressive Rock band. This album is not to be missed! @daFigz™ Favorite track: The Lie of the Land.

    Favorite track: Hawthorn White.

    rdansky thumbnail
rdansky This album made me a fan ahead of Cruise to the Edge 2025. Favorite track: Oblivion.
    lorenzo1910 thumbnail
lorenzo1910 The first track has everything that a "real" Prog song needs to have... Mellotron, dreamy and spacey amtosphere... the whole album is a pleasure and top notch for nowadays "Neo Prog" standards... maybe a little too "easy" (I wouldn't call it" commercial") but fine enough...
I surely don't regret my purchase... and BTW, you get Nick 'D Virgilio drumming that always worth a listening... my vote 7.5/10 Favorite track: Light Left In The Day.
    Roel thumbnail
Roel Enjoyable for both newcomers to symphonic rock and proggers looking for something less demanding. At times it rocks, while also being simply beautiful. Favorite track: Love Is The Light.

erm1143 New discovery this year. I love the combination of styles that this record has on display! it is such a unique blend of what I love about rock music. Never boring! this band is on my radar now! cannot wait to see what comes next!!
    Darknight thumbnail
Darknight I didn't think I would like this record but it's so infectious in its ability to change from prog to post rock then to psychedelic and onwards into alternative metal. Such an amazing feat to introduce the saxophone and it sounds so cool, this record is outstanding. Favorite track: Photogenic Love.
    Colin M. thumbnail
Colin M. I love the way TFATD jump between styles and genres whenever the song demands it. The result is a wildly diverse and highly entertaining album; I can’t wait to see what else there is to discover on repeated listens. Favorite track: Photogenic Love.

tonyauroristony58 Fell in love with BBT recently, absolutely love the stories they tell and the music.
Very sad to hear about David’s passing, listening now is quite moving, moved to tears from time to time, but we move on as I hope BBT will with David in our hearts. Favorite track: Proper Jack Froster.
    Gideon thumbnail
Gideon A fitting memorial to the passing of David. My condolences to his family. This is a must download for every prog rock fan and thank you for releasing this album in 24/96, it sounds magnificent! Favorite track: Proper Jack Froster.
    Carsten Pieper thumbnail
Carsten Pieper On the devastating news of David's parting, I decided I should get his farewell album with BBT as soon as it's released as a whole. So,I refrained from any pre-listenings (or viewings) on this one.
My hearfelt condolences to everyone who was close to him.
    RIP David

Michael La Guardia What a beautiful gift we've been given with this collection. Not only do we get to hear an impressive setting of some of the most profound music ever written, but Chris Thile's personality shines through in every piece. Thank you, thank you for sharing this with us.
    exrubato thumbnail
exrubato I saw Chris play at the Schermerhorn Auditorium in Nashville about a decade ago. It’s still one of the finest concerts I’ve attended. Hearing the life he breathes into Bach’s music has deepened my love of the composer, and the mandolin. Neither would be possible without his interpretation and facility. And those aspects inspire me too.
