As the album introducing me to the world of post rock, there was one, with itself being a abso-frigging-lutely great album another reason to buy it and finally listen to it in full length.

This album didn't click with me at first. i guess it was because my brain was distracted because upon the second listen I realized that this is amazing and the type of thing that keeps me listening to metal. The soundscape, the atmosphere, these guys really don't miss. Thank you metalstorm for introducing me to one of the best bands of the 2020s. Can't single out a favorite song. Whole album is amazing.

This album represents the vision of Opeth executed at a level of mastery Opeth never achieved. Despite all the hype, this is still an underrated release in my opinion. It's really that good!
Favorite track: Frost Flower.

I am in love with the range and artistry of this album, from ambient mellow soundscapes to blasting explosions of power. The extended guitar solo in Tear Down This Holy Mountain and the final act of In the Heavens Above, You Will Become A Monster with the female vocalist are my favorite moments

This album is a journey, and it will take you to serene and beautiful places, loud and dissonant places, spacious places, angry, open, heavy and smooth places, above it all you will soar.

An unparalleled album that perfectly marries Death Metal with neo-classical melodicism, an endless stream of solos, and flamenco. The last proper song (In'el) is just too much for me though!
Favorite track: Solus.

You like solos? Fuck me we got solo's here. What an album, mindbending stuff and so engaging no matter where these goddamn wizards decided they wanted to go. My favorite Tech Death album.
Favorite track: La Veuve et Le Martyr.

I heard Sun, astray about a week ago and wept. The other two singles on this album are just as good. Preordered the album physically and digitally. No question this will be an AOTY contender in the metal community.

Instantly fell in love with Karmanjakah after hearing Eyes Seeing Eyes. I heard it less than a week ago and have listened to it countless times. The way they can harness heavy and melodic in a track is rare and much appreciated. Highly recommend going through their back catalog and watching the music videos. Everything about this band is top tier. Viggo is also very open about sharing his guitar tabs and playthrough videos. It inspired me to pick up 7 string guitar again. ❤️🩹
