Obsidian One I seem to be experiencing a resurgence of interest in death metal these days. This album is brutal and unrelenting from start to finish. There are great moments throughout, like 0:12 in "Of Pillars and Trees" and the opening riff in "Tenaillement" which repeats throughout. This last mentioned track is especially addictive. Brutal death metal done right. Favorite track: Tenaillement.
