YomaBarr This just couldn't be bad even if it tried, and, turmoil of life or not, I find this uplifting like all hell. Now you know, kids, who was responsible for all that Stortregn sound 😎
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Swiss Melodic Black / Death Metal. As Sasha & Yoma 🖤 already stated, littlew can go wrong with such a line-up... :) It is indeed a most uplifting album as Yoma said! The melodies are perfectly balanced by the wonderfully raw, but still just rounded enough, vocals. I have only just bought it & it has been on a very steady rotation for the entire Easter weekend! No faves at all! Highly recommended!!!
    MarshMelody thumbnail
MarshMelody meloblack with some of the sickest melodies and most ecstatically technical performances, as to be expected from one of the masterminds behind Storts. Favorite track: Shining Amidst the Lights.

headbangerd17 This album didn't click with me at first. i guess it was because my brain was distracted because upon the second listen I realized that this is amazing and the type of thing that keeps me listening to metal. The soundscape, the atmosphere, these guys really don't miss. Thank you metalstorm for introducing me to one of the best bands of the 2020s. Can't single out a favorite song. Whole album is amazing.
    thekurtaction thumbnail
thekurtaction This album represents the vision of Opeth executed at a level of mastery Opeth never achieved. Despite all the hype, this is still an underrated release in my opinion. It's really that good! Favorite track: Frost Flower.

Viridescent I have been a fan of Robert's work for as long I can remember. As a long time Ableton user, his input in the development of the DAW has been a game changer for me too! This is an extraordinary album, he has expanded on the Monolake sound & created something very special here.
I'm waiting in eager anticipation for the next Monolake album to drop.

    Favorite track: Global Transport.
    jef37 thumbnail
jef37 talented range of techno from ambient, IDM with some extraordinary experimental electro sounds. A must have album. Favorite track: Global Transport.
    dub orange thumbnail
dub orange i have been a fan of roberts music for 25+ years now and studio became quickly one of my favourites by him. he developed an unique style and his refined sounddesign is top notch. studio should be listened on decent headphone to get all the details going on. somewhere between minimal tech &ambient you can both listening intensly or while doing things. well done again, robert, hope there will be a light installation show again! thank you. Favorite track: Stasis Field.

    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 Of the "Suns of Perdition" tetralogy, final Chapter IV "To Shadow Zion" is still my favourite. It was also the top-3 AOTY 2024 nominee for me, yet among the previous "Chapters", Chapter II is what did set PANZERFAUST aside from the masses, and elevated them to the top of whatever sub-genre label you may wanna use to define them. Those guitar riffs, outstandingly unique!! Favorite track: The Faustian Pact.
    Anticosmic Traveler thumbnail

sugarcomafoxtrot Absolute banger album, wish i had heard this earlier Favorite track: Solitude.
    Dan Curhan thumbnail
Dan Curhan This is kinda what I wanted from Latitudes after Individuation - excellent mathy riffage with unpretentious and somewhat sparse vocals, and big dynamics that stretch into blackened blasty territories. Very, very good.
    FlashMuc thumbnail
FlashMuc Great Post-Metal release, doomy, rocking, desperate, sad, beautiful - highly recommended! Favorite track: Gravel.

Chicagobass Lush, entrancing soundscapes that evoke nautical seascapes. This could be a soundtrack for the Pequod's voyage to find Moby Dick. Favorite track: Modest.
