bmurator US Stoner / Doom Metal. As Kirk Gauthier says, there are many influences here, going all the way back to early Black Sabbath. Most important of all, there is totally awesome music! Thanks SN! Recommended! Favorite track: Fiery Sabbath.
    Kirk Gauthier thumbnail
Kirk Gauthier If you’ve ever wondered what it would sound like if Clutch started a sludgey doom side project, then check this album out. The singer, Jude Sisk, sounds A LOT like Neil Fallon, is his bass work is out of this friggin’ world. There are a lot of influences at work here, but what you get is a really satisfying listening experience. Looking forward to what these guys have to offer in the future. Favorite track: Fiery Sabbath.

the_technology So intense. The last couple of minutes of Irjala are mindblowing. Top tier blackened crust. Favorite track: Irjala.
    porcelainheart- thumbnail
porcelainheart- Swedish melodic black metal that has been diligently following in the massive footsteps left by Bathory since the late 2010s. They toured my area in 2025 and I would have seen them had I not sold my ticket to see a bucket list band performing that same night. This is a great step-up from the already perfect self-titled in 2018. Favorite track: Nocturnal Fire.

Igor The album art was what initially caught my attention (besides the obvious reasons...) because it looks very 90's-esque... Still I would say it is worth mentioning that it took 1 one track to make me blind purchase this... I have high hopes for this band and album! But so far I can already tell I will become a fan! I will add more when the full album drops... but man... I'm already excited! Favorite track: Carnal Tapestries Of Nailtorn Flesh.

Abyssius Murkraken Finnish Melodic Black metal based around Tolkien lore.
This album surprised me, it's got three instrumentals and three songs at over ten minutes long.
The album has been crafted with exceptional care and is as epic sounding as Tolkiens' entire fantasy mythos is.
Not bad for a debut album from this one man metal project!
recommended. Favorite track: Thousand Caves in Blood (Kingdom in Fire pt.2).
    Grimkvnt thumbnail
Grimkvnt Great and epic Tolkien metal, glad I ordered the limited lp. Favorite track: Flames Upon a Bridge (Kingdom in Fire pt.1).
