    Of an Answer

Gorgeous blending beats, nostalgic melodies, rolll with it

Very nice indeed. It reminds me of an old Freshasa tape I used to love.
    Favorite track: Impermanence.

ernstlat one of the best albums by Steve Roach - several songs from this album were included in the soundtrack of the trendsetting MMOFPS "Neocron", a cyberpunk MMO in the style of Deus Ex. This particular song - "Fall of the Moai" - was used as its main theme. Favorite track: Fall of the Moai.
    Larry Ullrick thumbnail
Larry Ullrick This is one of Steve's better CDs to me. because it was hard to pick a favorite among more than the usual average number of tracks. Favorite track: The Majestic Void.

Mouldy Toast Eater Timeless ambient from a master producer!
    patient_ot thumbnail
patient_ot Quite melancholy and dark, but very well crafted for this style of ambient. I think "Elementa" is a slightly more refined than these pieces but I enjoy this release very much as well.

kaosskid I love this album so much that buying it on Juno was not enough. I can't wait to listen to it so I bought it here too. It is utterly fantastic! Alex just keeps getting better and better with every album he puts out. Thank you so much for these sonic gems! If you haven't already click "buy", you won't be disappointed! Favorite track: Nilwella.
    veldusi thumbnail
veldusi Whereas "Allambie" (2024) felt like a self-contained magical place, "Hiriketiya" feels more like openair soundstage where I would expect artists like Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon to turn up with their on-the-road Athens/Graceland collective, yet followed up by a more contemporary freestyle producer/dj such as Simon Mills (Bent).

Is it because the first track has a bassline somewhat familiar to the outro of Pete's and Kate's "Don't give up"?

Anyway, Alex Albrecht is a great alchemist. Favorite track: Intervals.

Hans Pieper This album is a very interesting and rewarding journey into the past of floex' work. I love how the first hints of his later main elements show up at many points. Yet this album is completely different from his later work: I feel it's much more pop/lounge oriented. As always, tracks (like Labccr and Phi_log) tell whole stories without a single word and let me get lost completely in the music.
And though I like the recent style more. this album shows that he had a promosing start all along. Favorite track: Labccr.
    voyager thumbnail
voyager This has to be one of the coolest breakdowns / builds I have ever heard in a song. Favorite track: Pay No Mind (Barber mix).
    Aryore thumbnail
Aryore Such a unique style. Curious, playful, inventive. Favorite track: Phi_log.
