pigster Chris always delivers. Favorite track: The Face of the Deep.
    kazlovesmusic_ thumbnail
kazlovesmusic_ I spent more money on the OSTs for this game than the game itself (I only bought the base game yesterday). Genuinely wonderful stuff here by Chris, especially They Might As Well Be Dead. Such a wonderful buildup to such an explosive climax. Love it Favorite track: They Might As Well Be Dead.

Amazing, unique, and always good to come back to. I always recommend Lite when talking about math-rock. Specifically this song too. I just love how everything feels so unconnected in the beginning but comes together. Favorite track: Square.
    Pako Buelna thumbnail
Pako Buelna Been following LITE almost since the beginning and these guys have almost always have a consistent output. This new album is great mixing some traditional instrumental tunes with vocals on other, but it is all great. hope to hear more from them soon! Favorite track: Inside The Silence.
    Eli thumbnail
Eli These guys have been putting out incredible music for 15 years now! Every album they put out has its own unique feel, never sounding the same, but always made with the same magic! Cubic is a refreshing take on the math rock genre, with hints of funk and jazz sprinkled about, and is essential to any math rock collection. I missed them in 2012 when they played Columbus, and when I found out they were playing Detroit earlier this year, I missed work, rented a car, drove for 4 hours through a snow storm, and got a hotel just to catch their 40 minute set, and would do it all again if the opportunity arises. Favorite track: D.

    piramis thumbnail
piramis Not a skippable track, a cultural milestone, absolutely essential and sublime, an evergreen, the lighttower during a storm at sea, a breath of fresh air. If you don't like this we can't be friends. Reminds me of the general mood of a Murakami book. Favorite track: グッドバイ (Album Version).
    jacobkarrer thumbnail
jacobkarrer I love toe! Favorite track: ラストナイト (Album Version).

    Sergio Quiroz thumbnail
Sergio Quiroz This album is my favorite by toe, to me it hits a great balance between their acoustic and electric work, taking it to places I always enjoy, and I have been lucky enough to have gotten this on vinyl. I will always appreciate their work, muchas gracias, with all my heart. Favorite track: Commit Ballad.
    adamcfischer thumbnail
adamcfischer Like all of toe's releases, this is an amazing album start to finish. Unparalleled vibes. I hear something new and interesting every time I listen through. This band is masterful when it comes to creating complexity and lushness via relatively simple parts. Favorite track: My Little Wish.
    Nicholas Cox thumbnail
Nicholas Cox Often the album that is a little neglected, but there is a lot to love here, and an album that doesn't try to be anything other than what they want to put out. And for that it's hard not to go with the title track. Favorite track: Because I Hear You.

Catherine M. Fox From the first note I heard them play I knew I would adore this band. This is an excellent release full of beautifully crafted grooves (ha! so that's why they are called that) and musicianship that is never too tight, never too loose and is never overdone. "Blessed" is an experience in itself, the insistent lyrical delivery from the gentleman and lady chatting is perfectly offset by the vocal harmonies and that strong horn section never outstaying its welcome. Essential release. Favorite track: Blessed (ft. Aziza Jaye).

    reapo1854 thumbnail
reapo1854 must have all retro Favorite track: Mall Meltdown.
    CloudRacer07 thumbnail
CloudRacer07 A fantastic soundtrack of radical tunes that will put you in a trance. Tee Lopes, along with the guitar accompaniments of Jonny Atma, did a amazing job bringing in music similar to the original TMNT arcade games while still standing out as its own take on the music of TMNT. Whether you are a TMNT fan or not, this is a soundtrack to starting boogying down to like it's the 80's all over again. Highly recommend buying the CD or Vinyl as well to forever keep in your music collection. Favorite track: Rumble in the Zoo.

Xalia Amazing soundtrack. Really manages to sell the dystopian cyberpunk feel of the game's world whilst also incorporating a touch of Japanese sound, all driven by heartpounding beats to get you pumped! Favorite track: Credits.
    dfkman thumbnail
dfkman Dystopia has never been groovier. Favorite track: Iwondonilo City (Act 1).
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 got that Sega Genesis CRUNCH to it. absolute banger from front to back. fits the game's nostalgic look and feel to a goddamn tee. Darkchaser is too sinister and heavy for me to ignore, but Iwondonilo City's clear F-Zero inspiration is delicious, too. Favorite track: Darkchaser.
