Gijs van Soest Shifting layers of sound. There is so much detail, repeat listens are very rewarding. I found that this one really comes to life on speakers, with room to breathe and enough low end, more than on headphones.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite machinefabriek albums, on par with dauw and "with voices" although this is less melodic than either of those. Favorite track: Lijnverkenning 4.

carrie favretto ... Such an amazing deep dive through sound exploration... Immersive atmospheres laced with hints of quantum noise, decoherence and interference patterns. It's a brilliant album. Favorite track: Lijnverkenning 4.
    Viridescent thumbnail
Viridescent "In the tapestry of evening light,
    crackling whispers weave through
    the dance of leaves—
    a meditative symphony,
each note a breath of freedom,
each rustle a brushstroke of beauty.

Nature's canvas sings in colors unseen,
    a palette crafted by dreams,
    where imagination stretches beyond horizons,
and every heartbeat echoes with optimism."

    Fabulous! Favorite track: Stemcassette.
    TheMoonHangs thumbnail
TheMoonHangs Richly detailed soundscapes aflutter with insect life and offset by moments of intimate and ethereal beauty found in stillness. So many of the minute artefacts that populate the spaces conjured here bring to mind chittering calls and the whirring and folding of wings, activity of a swarm disrupted by the hum-buzz of filament bulbs. I consider the record on the whole playing out as light slowly filtering into a cave or an unused stairwell, its denizens stirring to life free from stasis.

The GS Paradox Wow! This is a gem. Please consider a vinyl release of this. Not since Jon Hopkins' Ritual have I been so immediately taken by an album. Favorite track: Homespun Black Gold.

Gareth Fitzpatrick Minimalistic, percussive, playful, a little like ISAN’s stuff but very much their own vibe. Love the vocal touches on the opener.

rbravman I have a fair bit (87) of diverse material in my BC collection. This is my current favorite, and an inspiration toward the production hobby I'm looking to take up...
