Belfangen To me, this album is a masterpiece, a blend of incredible vocal talent and outstanding musicianship. Adja, you're one of the greatest talents I've heard in recent years! Favorite track: Sucking on my Emphatitties.
    citlali-la-li-la thumbnail
citlali-la-li-la Wow this is so gorgeous, musically delicious and layered and even more so lyrically. I am in awe of how Adja can beautifully describe the intimate ways in which capitalism creeps into the personal. She sings the big and small pains we all feel in this broken, healing world. This album is sharp clarity in a warm hug, it's magical because it's real.

    chezmax thumbnail
chezmax This album is a brilliant return to form, blending the legendary spirit of Gil Scott-Heron with Louie Vega’s signature Masters at Work production style. The collaborations with Moodymann and the fresh reinterpretations are top-tier, delivering sophisticated, soulful grooves that feel both nostalgic and modern. Even with the full release pending, the early tracks prove this is an essential addition for any deep house and jazz-funk lover.
    Best Album of the Year!

    bennyp207 thumbnail
bennyp207 What can be said about Nappy Nina + Swarvy? The duo's tenacious chemistry precedes them. 'Sow & So' picks up right where the two left off.

Nina's flow is formless - it is an electron cloud to the ear. Nearly impossible to predict! Swarvy's production is tight front-to-back. Especially enjoyed the kick + arrangement of the drums. maassai, Shabazz Palaces, lojii - feature list is packed as well. Fantastic impression upon first listen. This will be in the rotation heavy...GREAT STUFF!!!!!
