StrengthWithin I’m am a big Sisters of Mercy fan and this hits the spot for that long hiatus.
Yawning Chasm Of Ephemeral Bleakness thumbnail
Yawning Chasm Of Ephemeral Bleakness I'm stunned by how accessible and darkly anthemic 'Mond' truly is.
My favourite Goth / Post Punk record since 'Floodland'!
Great choruses and bags of atmosphere. One of the albums' of 2024, no question.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator French Goth Rock. Every now & then, I *need* my music to remind me of a modern & up to date version of Depeche Mode & the others listed here. This hits the spot like no other & they can do no wrong imho - as illustrated by the available song! I am so looking forward to this! Highly recommended!!!

Edit: Love it & love every song... :) Highly recommended once again!!!

Hermes R. B. This album is a pearl, it’s a musical painting of many tender and bittersweet human emotions. Favorite track: Here Is The Place (Remastered).
    cap0287 thumbnail
cap0287 So hard to choose as each one is a hit! Just recently discovered this group through this app and now I"m gonna take a road trip down to Tampa to see them perform at Absolution Fest. Easy top 10 fave bands I love.
    downtowndd thumbnail
downtowndd Somewhat hauntingly beautiful. The synth drives an emotional feel to the sing that just gets under your skin and makes you want to listen again and again. Favorite track: Losing Touch (Remastered).

    Fredschuit thumbnail
Fredschuit Bandcamp is my favorite app. Without Bandcamp I would missed out on a lot of great music like Empathy Test! A wonderful album. Occasionally bombastic with nice synths and the voice of Isaac Howlett on top. Well done guys💪🏽 Favorite track: Incubation Song (Album Version).

    by Astari Nite

    preciousken thumbnail
preciousken ook if Astari Nite has a new single, I am here for it. That said, holy crap this is a jam. An enchanting garden of mythic colors and romantic poetry. It bounces between complex layers and stripped down emotional delivery. The vocals are that beautiful teardrop smooth Robert Smith croon which makes my heart well. This band continues to impress with every release. Favorite track: Pocket Full of Posies.

    ermannoxxx thumbnail
ermannoxxx This is Astari Night's most ambitious record to date and it really pays off! I love this album from start to finish, it has a mid to late 90's vibe while staying very authentic to their music. I have always thought that his vocals sounded very Bowie esk , and It couldn't be more true here..I also find that some songs sound very much like Rozz Williams style and lyrics, and that's a really good thing 🖤 Fabulous album guys! Favorite track: Tongue Tied Galore.

  1. Matter of Choice
    by Cold Showers

    Neil Zielinski thumbnail
Neil Zielinski Only Human is the most relatable track I have heard in a long time. This is an artist who know his audience and they sound good representing them. I feel myself wrapped in the sound and the song. For the rest of the album, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself and loved it. This is a good album at least and at best near perfect for capturing what the bands of the 80's failed to do. Favorite track: Only Human.

  2. Apollo
    by Soror Dolorosa
    supported by
    vykr thumbnail
vykr Quite simply; this album beguils the senses and allows you to wander wide-eyed among the landscape of your mind, lulled into security by Tennyson, then hauled into the clamour of forgotten spirits. Great via headphones but, truly widescreen when blasted from speakers. Favorite track: Night is Our Hollow.
    Pierre thumbnail
Pierre Doboï, c'est mon copain Favorite track: Apollo.
    Sister-Pain thumbnail
Sister-Pain I f...ing BREATHE your music! From the first album to the last! But have to say the Apollo is a masterpiece! And you guys are my favourite band! So my biggest wish is to see you live! Favorite track: The End.

    Federico Botti thumbnail
Federico Botti The quintessential of autumn in music, a magical journey in 15 tracks Favorite track: The Golden Alchemy.
    trainh13 thumbnail
trainh13 It's rare to find a band that makes music that is wholly unique but 1476 have managed it in stunning fashion. A strange mix of folk, art rock and punk sensibilities combines to form a melting pot of styles and ideas that while diverse and eclectic, never fails to captivate. A wonderful album and a strange journey, this shouldn't be missed. Favorite track: Good Morning, Blackbird.
    Ellen Mandel thumbnail
Ellen Mandel I am sitting here listening with headphones. This record touches my soul in so many ways. It is musically superior. I am extremely fussy and know what I like. One track is better than the next. Not sure which I can call my favorite since I like each of them for different reasons. Thank you +1476+. I look forward to so much more.

rasmodeus I can't stop playing music from this album, every track feels fresh the next time I hear it, there's always something new. Favorite track: Nostalgia.
    LLK thumbnail
LLK No one manages to revive the 80s dark pop melancholy and make it so fresh and contemporary like Ulver. Apocalyptic lyrics never sounded dancier. Favorite track: Machine Guns and Peacock Feathers.

  5. The Assassination of Julius Caesar
    by Ulver
    supported by
    rasmodeus thumbnail
rasmodeus Such a good album. It's synthy and dark and seems to have an overall theme about loss and change, I just wish I had known of them earlier. Favorite track: Southern Gothic.
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 one wouldn't expect "grand" or "epic" to be synonymous with synthpop, but this is as much of the grandest scope and a sweeping epic as an album of this genre could be. with commercialism also comes solid production, catchy melodies, dark themes, and lyrical depth. Ulver is a group I need to delve deeper into, but this is an incredibly good start. Favorite track: Southern Gothic.
    RJ thumbnail
RJ Has there been a band with such a fantastic musical voyage as Ulver? A truly dynamic release in an already stellar catalogue. Dark synth pop for the masses with historical influences. Highly, highly recommended. 9/10 Favorite track: So Falls the World.

Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) 《 Si évoluer c'est ça
Moi j'évolue pas pour un sou 》
    — "Humain à l'eau", Racine carrée. Stromae.

Favorite track: Triumph of the Oak.

    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Underworld Aurora.
    Saffron Robe thumbnail
Saffron Robe Not a band I ever got into much beyond the track "I Will Lay Down My Bones Among the Rocks and Roots". However, this album is on a whole different level. Kody’s involvement in the writing process adds new vistas and an extra sparkle to the music. Every aspect of this album is precise and honed to perfection - a true work of art.
    Alex Decknadel thumbnail
Alex Decknadel This album continues what WITTR has been known for, with cuts that harken back to previous albums but not retread them. It's definitely a great listen for any fan of the band. Favorite track: Underworld Aurora.
