Kevin Montgomery is simply the best at this sort of nostalgic dream-like synth. The man is prolific, putting out quality album after album of solid gold with the most authentic feel. His music is transcendent of the 1980s but emboldens a feeling of future well being as well as past glory.
Well on the way to purchasing all his albums, one at a time.

This Space Intentionally Left Filled It's clear that MM has talent to spare, with revamped versions of old songs where some melodies or instruments were implied.
