J. Wright Reviews Not a perfect 10/10 but still, there are quite a few really solid tracks here, especially in the second half. The album takes an unexpected experimental/avant-garde approach early on, feeling something like a 90s documentary on a foreign country. Later on, It has elements of vaporwave and synthwave alongside smooth jazz and a nearly utopian scholastic tinge that makes you feel like you're traveling the world. I LOVE “Happy Ending 2026” because it has a definite (happy) ending, is the same as is on the Phaedra 50 album…and they opened with it when I saw them in September of 2023 – great memories!
“Los Santos City Map” paints an epic surreal Cityscape, and we’re treated to Hoshiko & Thorsten’s solos on “Love On A Real Train,” not present on any other studio version.
