First of all, what you see is what you get. Nereidean Seismic End is just as grimy, murky and sinister as you would expect from its minimalistic, great cover artwork (which was the reason I bought it). This is darkness incarnate; drowning at the bottom of the sea made manifest - and that is good. That said, there is little (not none) variety on display - apart from the last track - and the songs blend into another quite heavily. If this is what you like, do not hesitate. Pitch black metal.
Favorite track: The Morning Carried a Feeble Sun, a Solitary Sphere of Embers.
