Carsten Pieper As I still haven't managed to see them live, this "free concert" from the recent US tour is a welcome goodie! Thanks a lot! Favorite track: Tentacles.
    gearmanx thumbnail
gearmanx Of course it is impossible to pick your favorite Stick Men LIve track but I'll pick swimming due to the amazing lyrical guitar lick from Markus that makes this track seem majestic!
    Favorite track: Swimming in Tea.

    J. Scottt F. Why do I love this track? I have no fucking idea...I just do. Maybe because it tickles my brain Favorite track: The Well.

  1. The Circus And The Nightwhale (24-bit HD audio)
    by Steve Hackett

    mishypoo thumbnail
mishypoo A seamless Masterpiece that has everything I want from a Hackett album including and especially lead vocals by Steve & a kick A** Nad Sylvan vocal/song. A full listen is like reading a great novel, a classic, then being completely wiped at the end when it is over yet wishing there were more. Thank goodness for the final track, “White Dove”, which is the perfect vehicle to help me stop crying from the tremendous penultimate song, “Wherever You Are”, a happy cry from album’s greatness. Much love. Favorite track: Wherever You Are.
    JC thumbnail
JC Je pense que Steve Hackett tient ici son chef d’œuvre, un album qui résume une immense carrière en nous racontant son histoire tout en se réinventant.

sonamoto I already knew some of these songs from Robert Fripp and the league of crafty guitarists. I love the complexity of the compositions and the emotions that they invoke in me. It is like a deep ocean...
    fredraimondi thumbnail
fredraimondi This album is just terrific but the real gem is their rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Echoes”. That is worth the price of admission alone! Favorite track: Echoes.
    Jon Lybrook thumbnail
Jon Lybrook Epic milestone video performance marking the newest incarnation of this dynamic and original band at a major event.
    Steven thumbnail
Steven This is a phenomenal recording from a wonderous grouping of musicians. I can't wait to listen again with headphones to really pick out the subtilties!

    rvss.eel thumbnail
rvss.eel I enjoyed Hyperreal, but more in pieces than as a whole. The trumpet is a key driver of that album, but often went in directions that didn't mesh with what I felt were the album's strengths. With the trumpet out and bass in for Imaginary Mountains, I'm much more in with the vibes. For all the exciting, often drum-led moments, this can get surprisingly mellow as well. It's sometimes an odd flow, and I like the higher energy best. But I recommend this to anyone seeking interesting, piano-led jazz. Favorite track: High Expectations.
