    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: alive.

    Nickie Harte Kelly thumbnail
Nickie Harte Kelly Netherlands composer Jurre Timmer’s latest release again turns to Icelandic inspiration, this time ruminating upon grief and sorrow (which are rough translations of the title). Impeccably played acoustic guitar is at the core of all of the pieces, with delicate embellishments of flute and some haunting, distant vocal parts. Favorite track: Mana.
    Hypo thumbnail
Hypo "Harmr is not just an album: it's a deeply emotional experience. It marks the beginning and the turning point of a therapeutic journey, where every note represents a careful step through the ruins of something that was once loved, then lost, and finally internalized".

    by Manøver

    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X Man, has Manøver come into their own on this record or what? I agree with Yoma’s “crushdge” comment; crust/sludge doesn’t quite capture the crushing weight of death/doom that’s heavily infused into the mix. As for what’s being communicated, look no further than the 161 🚩🏴 indicators and the band’s affiliation with Fucking Kill Records. All this to say, Manøver has a political conscience to match its sonic heft :) Favorite track: Bombshell Disease.
    Zerthis thumbnail
Zerthis I was looking for some sounds to drown out the crickets after the rain, then Yoma put this in my feed. Sludgy crust; the soundtrack for the end of time.
    YomaBarr thumbnail
YomaBarr They call themselves crust/sludge. But this is Crush/sludge. Crushdge. Something like.
But at the same time this doesn't fall into the "enemy of man" category, it wants to communicate...

Zerthis - crickets under my balcony play black metal. Serious. There's even a soloist ;)

    gmoraisferrum thumbnail
gmoraisferrum This band opened a new musical universe to me. Him and the other bands creating this new genre I don't know exactly what to call even though there's something that *clearly* sets them apart from any other genres is my new favorite micro-scene. I want so much more of this, so much. Favorite track: tahec qin ne wejctbe twanis - eh anëhaΩaj hana.

Joan An album i can't listen to the entirety of without having tears in my eyes. Just Ely it's often a light in the dark for me. Thank you. Favorite track: Ever North (Laurentian Blue).
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Broken Bars.
