    Eekhoorntjesbrood thumbnail
Eekhoorntjesbrood Members of the visionary Amun return with a slightly(!) less ambitious experimental black metal album. Still inspired and haunting. Lush, yet abrasive. Music of the near-future. Favorite track: The Altar.
    Jono Schneider thumbnail
Jono Schneider Incredibly wide ranging black metal full of raging energy Favorite track: Sun And Stone.
    meows4life666 thumbnail
meows4life666 The wait after that amazing song from the split with Sadness has been so incredibly worth it. This is a phenomenal work of art, I highly recommens Favorite track: Nine Lights.
    Luke thumbnail
Luke It takes a serious band to take on a split with Sadness and hold their own. It was immediately obvious that Vulning were that band. This debut is far beyond what most bands could hope for after years of refinement. Simply, this is a new touchstone in the world of progressive black metal. They kind of thing they'll queue at Roadburn for a special complete performance of one day. A serious achievement. Chapeau.

Ishtar this kind of screamo >>😩
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: first kiss in autumn.

  5. demo six
    by life

    porcelainheart- thumbnail
porcelainheart- A mixed bag of what makes life a jack of all trades when it comes to screamo. everything for your hands in autumn has an audio chasm reminiscent of the middle part of the song eleven from demo four, but sunset at the hill has a pop-punk-esque intro that becomes infectious after one listen, refusing to leave your head after one cursory listen. Favorite track: sunset at the hill.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: everything for your hands in autumn.

peterbur i think Svalbard has made a lasting impact in modern rock music. thank you. i love what you have done together. i hope Svalbard will play some shows outside of England on their farewell tour. preferably Norway. i would definetly come see you. Cheers!
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer I've only seen Svalbard play live once, but instantly connected with their music. The Weight of the Mask is a fantastic, emotionally crippling journey and it saddens me that their existence is coming to an end. If We Could Still Be Saved is an appropriate farewell, highlighting everything that made this band stand out. The screams may fade into echoes, the smiles may be trapped in old photos, and Svalbard will be dearly missed – but not forgotten. Thank you, Serena and gentlemen, for the music! Favorite track: If We Could Still Be Saved.

Jonathan Mundy An emotional final farewell - thanks for the memories. The songs will shine on... Favorite track: If We Could Still Be Saved.

    Lord Bakartia thumbnail
Lord Bakartia Cualquier review que pueda hacer se queda corta. Me limitaré a decir: una jodida locura.🔥🦇⚔️ Favorite track: Cosas.
    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X From the cover art to the opening salvo of thunder, rain, violins, and tortured shrieks, you just know this is going to be lush, dramatic, black metal/gaze at its finest. Victoria Carmilla never disappoints, but it feels like she’s laid her soul utterly bare on Ausencia. Beautiful!! Favorite track: Ausencia I.

gauffio Captures perfectly the old-school post-hardcore and skramz bland of the early 2000's. Favorite track: 24th, December.
    Adam Andrade thumbnail
Adam Andrade Yum, this captures that early 2000s era where hardcore, screamo and metalcore were all kind of the same thing, and giving me Misery Signals vibes #makeskramzhardcoreagain Favorite track: 24th, December.
김 동한 / Claude Perts thumbnail
김 동한 / Claude Perts i've been loving this record since back when it still spelt "somthing" in the title. we are not the same. Favorite track: 24th, December.
