blondepizza There's a reason I Am Gonna Claw (Out Your Eyes Then Drown You to Death) won the Best Song category at this year's Yet Another Game Awards show -- it's a banger!! Love Darren and everything he makes.<3 Favorite track: I Am Gonna Claw (Out Your Eyes then Drown You to Death).

    susurss thumbnail
susurss Absolutely brilliant stuff. Love the atmosphere, love the tracks, and love The Algorithm! First album I've ever bought with my own money, and I'm so excited for what will release in the future!
    Favorite track: Hollowing.
    Spirit of Infernum thumbnail
Spirit of Infernum Thanks to some retro synth textures and progressive structures, I can imagine myself being taken to retrofuturistic cyberspace. I feel like the album depicts a world in which the internet still wasn't a centralised algorithmic (heh) mess and we never stopped dreaming about the digital future. Favorite track: Advanced Evasion Technique.
    Brad thumbnail
Brad I like* how over the course of the last 15 years calling something "the algorithm" has gone from sort of nerdy twee to the most dystopian, cryptic, nihilistic, perilous, faustian-pact evil thing imaginable. Good, fun sound design getting djent adjacent to all the electro -cores, -waves and -trances.

    * like is not the right word

    John Futon thumbnail
John Futon It's impossible to pick the best song off this soundtrack, there isn't a bad song on it. Not even the ambiental stuff or quiet character motifs or even the goofy songs miss. It's just, all wonderful. Favorite track: Flying Waters - Serpenphare.
    skildren thumbnail
skildren i don't understand french but i love the Stunning Composition & beautiful Songs Favorite track: Une vie à peindre.

    J. Wright Reviews thumbnail
    J. Wright Reviews This was the first MBR album I ever heard. I looked MBR up after hearing the VirtuaVerse soundtrack and this really hooked me as the internet and technology behind it have always intrigued me. This album feels like an audio representation of packets flying through the net, pulses of electricity and light jolting through coax and fiber cables: a chaotic jungle of electronic communication in crushingly epic form! Favorite track: HTTP.

Max Stad Very nice guitar music. Hard to choose a favourite track ;) Favorite track: El Mar.
    Ronald Paredes / mundosanto thumbnail
Ronald Paredes / mundosanto Since the first few second that I got to listen "Hermanos Gutierre"z in a website I got hooked. Music extremely sensorial that evokes aromas, taste, even tactile sensations, very latin rooted, simply sublime. Favorite track: El Jardin.
    sherv_am_23 thumbnail
sherv_am_23 You're likely to sway and dance to these tunes as if your ancestors were latino and you heard your grandparents play these dusty vinyls for your entire childhood. Favorite track: Suéltalo.

Lincoln McCormick Every track is perfect. Favorite track: Limbo.
    RJ thumbnail
RJ Perhaps Leprous’ most stylish album to date and for me their best release since 2017’s “Malina.” The album ebbs and flows between somber synth forward passages and heavy, aggressive, and even groovy guitar riffs. Einar’s vocals are perfect as always and Baard continues to show us why he is currently one of the best, most unique and creative drummers around. 8/10 Favorite track: Like a Sunken Ship.

diniced Grandiose. BRUTUS, c'est 3 musiciens, sans artifice. C'est naturel, sincère et authentique.
Évidemment le chant y est pour beaucoup. Quelle voix !
All hail BRUTUS 🤘 Favorite track: All Along (Live in Brussels).
    HeidiHoh thumbnail
HeidiHoh Oh my god! Album of the year! If you'll ever need someone running your merchtable every night on your next big arenatour round the world. Yes, I will! Could live in the moment of a Brutus live show forever. Great this album is coming out. Love you so. xxx Favorite track: War (Live in Brussels).
